Sketches for Pages 608 and 609 (Patreon)

Above are the panels for the last two pages of the story arc. The images are inked with Sharpie pens on copy paper, the same materials I started with ten years ago. 

For a long time, I've been inking and coloring FE pages digitally. But in this arc, I started experimenting with inking by hand again. It seems to be helping the pages be finished more quickly, and the characters be more integrated with their environments. Plus, returning to the tools I started out with is helping me work through emotional blocks I've been struggling with. Been getting very kind messages congratulating FE's anniversary this month - thank you all so much! I'm still floored at how many people have enjoyed and connected with Cat, Ronnie, Dawn and their friends. Thank you all for a decade that was so much more than I hoped it could be, looking forward to the next ten years <3
