Been experimenting with a new storyboarding exercise to work through writer/artist block, wanted to share it - I really like the results it produced for some upcoming FE pages!

Step One: I divide a sheet of paper into four boxes, write script notes for a comic page in one top box. In the second top box, I sketch a thumbnail of how that page would look.

Step  Two: In the next row of boxes, I'll add notes of what to improve/update in the script, based on the original thumbnail sketch. Then use those notes to create a new thumbnail of the page, emphasizing the new script notes. Step Three: Create more rows of boxes, and keep adjusting/improving the script and thumbnail sketches 'til I'm satisfied with how the page will look.

I doubt you hear this often enough but I find you to be a true inspiration for art!
