Is it possible to get the tokens that you used for the walking statues?

Metalmorphosis

Are there street names on any of the overall or ward maps? I'm hoping to avoid having to manually add street names everywhere

Tych Maps

Both the complete city map and the ward maps include labelled and labelled version. I also include an "overlay" layer (for wards only, although you could piece it together on an overall map as well), which is just the labels and no map, so you can layer it on top in a VTT if you want more control of when to show/hide it (ie. show it when your players are navigating the city, then hide it if you need to run an encounter somewhere).

Metalmorphosis

Can I add it using the module? Or do I have to do it manually? When I'm adding the overlay, I just get a black screen.

Tych Maps

at the moment street labels are only a manual addition. but that's odd you are getting a black screen. are you converting them to webp or anything first (iirc they might be too large for webp format)

Metalmorphosis

I am just adding the street names overlays as an overlay in the scene settings. Im getting the size vs background error so its rescaling. Maybe thats it?

Tych Maps

Hmm might be. What happens if you try to add it as a tile instead?

Metalmorphosis

Its just North Ward and Castle Ward overlays that have the problem.

Osmar Telo

The Deep Water Lighthouse isn't on the map, it just has the rock where it would be above. That promontory below the south gate

Kawugi3

Fantastic maps, but on Foundry several of the larger maps don't seem to load properly. Namely Harbour and all of the Wards except for Trade Ward

Tych Maps

hmm that shouldn't be an issue typically. Try going to this site: https://webglreport.com/ and see what the number says in the blue "Textures" box for Max Texture size. It should be 16384. If it's less, that might be the issue.

Kawugi3

It says 16384 in the box. The images load normally when I open them but in Foundry the maps are just gray squares. I've had similar problems with very large maps not loading but I'm not sure what the cause is

Tych Maps

What is your Foundry setup like? Local hosted? Cloud hosted? How are you creating the scenes? Just trying to figure out where in the process things might be getting messed up. Hope we can get this resolved for you

Kawugi3

Not too sure what changed between today and three days ago but now everything loads in normally. I am having some fairly bad fps problems when controlling player tokens in larger maps as well as the Yawning Portal (unless token vision and fog of war are disabled, then it runs close to max fps)

Tych Maps

Hmm strange. Glad it's loading now for you at least. Even bigger mystery as to what was causing it though haha. Hope it continues to work!

Andrew Wang

Do the ward labels only work with a specific map resolution/size? Do they work with the 10px low res Roll20 maps?

Tych Maps

they will scale/work with lower resolution maps. You'll just need to make sure to keep the aspect ratio the same
