The Tower of Urm appears in Avernus only briefly before vanishing across the planes once again. Perched atop an island in a lake of boiling blood, the iron tower serves as the temporary home of the legendary archmage Mordenkainen, drawing yugoloth mercenaries and infernal schemers eager to earn his favor—or his downfall.

Designed to support Descent into Avernus, this map recreates the Tower of Urm encounter from the adventure, providing a detailed battlemap for exploration, roleplay, and negotiations with one of the multiverse's most powerful wizards.
