Hot take but I didn't even like the first game of last of us. Its a lot of typical 3rd person watered down action with some melodrama driving the story. I believe there is even a turret defense section of the game just like every shooter from the 2000s. You slog through the story and avoid the pointless crafting system and then see some giraffes at the end of the game. Wowie... Then the final "battle" happens and you sprint past mushroom zombies. The end. Somehow that trash won game awards
