Small Weekly Update ^_^ New commission started! (Patreon)

Hello everyone ^_^

It's a short update this week as Monday to Wednesday it was awfully hot here and my PC was overheating and it was just sucking to try and do work in the heat so I waited for things to cool down. It worked out well though because I was still discussing stuff with the client about the commission and we didn't finalise stuff until Thursday.

The new commission is going to be with MiNA and it will be a solo one! It's taking place on the Trickster's Delusion map. This map is one of the more complicated ones I've had to piece together and I haven't done it fully yet but only the main bits of where the animation is taking place.

This is a super early WIP where it's got barely anything textured and the lighting is super simple right now. There are still a lot more props to place into this scene but until the cameras are properly set up I don't want to waste time adding lots of detail we wont see.

I've also moved up to Blender 4.5 now so I'm going to be learning how that works, for the most part things should be the same but lighting and rendering settings are a bit different from what I'm used to. I did notice a big performance boost to my viewport which is awesome for doing animations :D

I'm going to learn how to make a rain particle effect as well as little splashed on the ground and some dripping water from the ledges above! We will have some nice puddles on the ground that should give lovely reflections with all the neon lights

But sadly that's all from me D: next week I'll be smashing out this project and will have way more to show you :D

I hope everyone has had a great week though! I'm glad things are cooler here I can't stand working when it's super hot but I hope everyone has a lovely weekend <3
