Weekly Update ^_^ Some images of progress on the Jason x MiNA project :) (Patreon)

I'll start off with the progress regarding the MiNA project, so I spotted some minor animation/clipping issues that I've now fixed but there were some big shadow issues where I lowered the shadow resolution for everything to make things render faster, but in some scenes the casting shadow looked god awful so I have also been re-rendering those scenes. Hopefully we are on track for having it all finished next week :)

Onto the Jason x MiNA stuff!!!

So I have started this project but there isn't a huge amount of progress right now as more time got focused on rendering the fixes for the commission project.

I've been blocking out a basic scene for where this is taking place and the plan is a cabin by a lake :) there will be dense trees all around and lots of foliage but there will be a nice warm campfire. As you can see it's very early WIP and the cabin is just a box with no detail what so ever. I don't think anything will take place inside the cabin for this project it's more of a background detail.

So I was doing my normal thing of getting a killer model ready and I ended up talking to Licht who as it turns out had recently done a Jason model and when he showed me pictures oh my god it looked amazing! he had done a full nude body whereas I was going to do the open trousers and just a peen sticking out similar to how I've done Ghostface.

He was extremely kind and sent me the model (he's also the person I bought the MiNA model off) so if you're ever in need of DBD models he is a great person to talk to. Some are for free on smutbase but others you would have to pay for but they are worth it, especially if you are like me where you struggle and take ages to put a model together >_<

I did tweak the model slightly so the body proportions fit to what I had in mind and it was making his waist a bit wider but in terms of how jacked he is (muscular) let me know if this is too much and if you'd prefer it toned down.

I don't know if many of you have a similar preference but for me I'm not too fond of the new Jason mask so I did edit it to look more like the movies ^_^ It's the eye hole shape and I added more holes to the mask. I will be doing two versions so people who prefer the newer DBD mask will still have it for this animation. I've got to tweak the UVmapping for the newer mask as the textures look like they are getting sucked into his eyes at the moment.

Now onto some important decision making regarding the positions. So for the positions poll "Being held off the ground" and "Mating press" won and the decision we shall have to come to is what kind of held off the ground are we thinking?

So for this one it would need ropes involved so I figured it would be a tree swing that MiNA would be holding onto.

This is more of the generic held of the ground position similar to the Jane x Springtrap animation.

Lastly we have one where MiNA's legs would be really high up next to Jason's face and she would probably be up against a tree but that doesn't need to be the case she could be holding onto him. Jason wouldn't have as much of a banana stance like this image he would be a bit more straight and upright.

I'm thinking of running a poll for these three images so be sure to vote on that when I put it up :)



That's all from me for now though D: If things go well the MiNA animation will be done next week and I'll also have some new WIP renders of a much more detailed environment and some lighting for the Jason x MiNA project :D
