Happy Funny Feature Friday!

Omg this was an absolute RIOT! Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan just have such fun chemistry. I adored the bloopers at the end so much.

For those who are curious, I watched this on Prime Video. As always, thank you so much for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, stay golden! ✨

Looking forward to checking this one out. LOVE this movie. Lol, just seeing the name "Rush Hour" has me moving my body to "How Deep Is Your Love for Me."

Speaking of Jackie Chan, the stunts you see here frankly pale in comparison to those in his Hong Kong movies. POLICE STORY and PROJECT A (both of which he directed and also did stunt coordination for, in addition to acting in them) all have insane stunts. Those movies (especially POLICE STORY) are worth reacting to IMO. As a person who spent my initial childhood years in India in the 1990s, these 2 movies were staple for me growing up (I watched the local dub and have since caught up watching the originals for both). FYI: Jackie's Hong Kong movies are known for having blooper reels over the credits, which is a tradition continued here. The injuries he sustained during those years are insane!

Don't know yet if she watched the bloopers in the credits but "Now show me your ass" is one of the funniest moments in any movie ever!

I really, really hope you eventually watch Rush Hour 2. It is infinitely better IMO than Rush Hour 1. You'd really enjoy it.

to be fair about the C4 part, its not like the stuff is common on the streets, way less common than illegal guns. so its not out of the realm of possibility that the only guy carter knows to sell C4 happens to know about the C4 movement in the city. hope part 2 is coming cause that one is also a banger. the thing about jackie chan stunts in these, as someone said, it pales in comparison to what he did in hong kong since the insurance companies in the states didnt want him to do more crazy stuff like hes used to. also, i wanna defend the "plot holes" people get way too hung up on details in movies these days, imo. not everything needs a detail explanation, a map of events laid out to understand how characters get to point A and B. all that matters, especially in a movie like this where the plot is second to the two characters, is that theres at least the bare minimum of efforts to get the characters where they need to be.

Rush hour 1 & 2 are on par

Thoroughly entertaining - Now, the wait for Rush Hour 2! Whoo boy

Natalie, you should 100% watch the movie Lights Out. Scary movie (your favorite). Perfect Natmare movie. Also, Loki Season 2! In my opinion, it's better than season 1, and it is potentially the wrapping up of Loki's entire character arc.

Troy

"Who let him onto the airstrip?!" <-- Yeah, the 20th century was WAY more laidback about that sort of thing. (I mean, still odd, but not utterly unheard of. Hard to imagine nowadays.)

Troy

Something you said in your commentary reminds me, if you're looking for more 90's comedies and you haven't already seen it, I recommend "So I Married An Ax Murderer" starring Mike Meyers. (Including an early prototype of his Shrek voice.)

Steven Hok

Loved this. We definitely need a Rush Hour 2 reaction!

While Rush Hour is a great Chris Tucker film... I feel his best works are Money Talks and of course Friday.

CJ

This is one of the movies that if I saw it on TV, I would always put it on.

I'd also add Jackie Chan's Hong Kong movies, especially POLICE STORY 1 to 3. The original non-US dub of PROJECT A is also fantastic (was lucky to catch that one as a child in India).

Kevin Farrell

A Jackie Chan movie poll would be fun. Drunken Master is one of my favorites.

Chris Capitano

I hope you continue to watch the 2nd and 3rd

I have in fact said that one line to women I've known, "If you want to get with me you got to wait in line like every other woman." : )

Logan Kerlee

Loved this reaction! Had a ton of fun watching this! lol, it's been a number of years since I've watched this - getting to watch this was a lot of fun! :)

Rush Hour will always have a special place in my heart, always so damn funny, even if some of the jokes are dated lol. Rush Hour 2 is a must watch btw, so incredibly well done. I gotta ask say, please react to some of Jackie Chan's Hong Kong films, they're way better than this in terms of action and stunts, Jackie was neutered in Hollywood due to safety concerns, but the man has done some amazing things and risked his life in amazing stunts. Would love to see your reaction to some of his biggest moments.

Either a whole lot of people don't know this or just don't care. Brett Ratner who directed the three Rush Hour movies had been accused by 6 women of sexual assault and harassment. He is still making money off of the Rush Hour films and there is word he s attached to direct Rush Hour 4

MJ Eid

dude just rushed the corespondence dinner. lol dont be so surprised by inept security.

DS P
