How did Xander get past the school gate? Also, UV flashlights would definitely be good in a Buffy reboot, but I don't think they were readily available yet in the mid 90's.

Campy, vampy fun Nat. I love it 😄 Really enjoying watching this show again with you. Flashbacks to when it was on BBC2 at 6pm every week, before Sky TV swooped in and put it behind a paywall, so that us mere mortals who didn't have satellite tv couldn't watch it. They did that with The X-Files and Friends too. Waited until it became popular on terrestrial tv and then grabbed it. Damn them! 😅 Looking forward to the next episode Nat 😊

So this is technically the official end of the Pilot episode! how are we feeling? How do we like our gang? 👀 I’m so excited for your reactions to this show. If you think The Master is dramatic now, just WAIT 😭 “Sunrise!… it’s in about 9 hours, moron.” Icon, legend, star. I love her. “Just standing out here in an alley looking weird and sexy?” If that isn’t season 1 Angel in a nutshell 😂 Cant wait for the rest of the season. It’s campy as hell but there are genuine moments of emotion that this cast just nails, they’re all great

i really hope theres enough intreset in these videos and you enjoy the show enough to keep going and even try the spin off series, this show as campy and goofy as it is can also deliver gut punches.

Rewatching this show all these years later and my appreciation for the performance Charisma Carpenter gives just goes up and up. She's so great as the over the top self-centered mean girl and I'm looking forward to seeing her character arc again. She was fantastic in Angel and easily the most interesting character on that show.

I would literally rather a blatant rip-off like the "cheerleader vampire hunter" than a remake. MAYBE a sequel series if they got the same guys who did Cobra Kai, but it seems like a lot of people are afraid to replicate Cobra Kai's success.

If you play the DVD in VLC at 96% speed it almost lines up. Open to other ideas if anyone has them. Happy to be watching Buffy again!

Please stay with this show after the first season. Season 1 tries to find it's footing (with a few dud episodes) but season 2 is when the show really takes off.

I don't know if you read the comments, but if not hopefully someone that knows you can let you know to purchase the DVDs to watch this instead of streaming it - they have cut things out on the streaming and sometimes even edited the framing so that things that were on screen are out of frame. It's awful.
