Just keep it coming. Keep it coming on and on!

Kaligaris

i do not now what the others think, but i would argue you should not read the log line because you can spoiler yourself. Especially if you plan to watch season 2.

Adam Doyle

I think soon the Camp Value may die down and you might really start getting invested in the characters, particularly season 2 and on, then you too may become a Buffy buff.

Darryl Low

Happy Thursday Nat. That was another fun episode and reaction. I always enjoy the little twist right before the credits. I look forward to your reading of next week's description 😄 Thanks for your awesome Buffy videos this week Nat 😊

The master is tied to the failed ritual to open the Hellmouth. The magic more or less backfired and instead of opening the Hellmouth, it trapped him.

Kristine Friling

Technically we are still firmly mid 90s at this point than early 2000s, which how fast technology was changing at this point, it is still quite a difference. 😀 I graduated high-school in 97, this is so close to how it was to me in those years. Including the weird stuff Buffy says. Haha

Natalie Gold

I hear that but I don't think I can help myself. Sometimes the closed captions spoil things too so I'm just choosing not to worry about it. I'll likely only do it for this 1st season tho since it's campy

David Sumner

It was the innocuous little boy! What a Twist! Also, Owen will never be seen again which is good because they have zero chemistry and he is a charisma black hole.

David Sumner

Cellphones weren't nearly as ubiquitous back then but you'd figure they'd make more use of them.

Kristine Friling

I didn't know anyone who had a cellphone in 1996, but I sure knew people who had beepers (pagers). I got my cellphone at the end of 99, and I still had it much earlier than many friends did, because my parents were letting me drive to college by myself for the first time my Jr Year. Haha fun fact, that is still my cell phone number.

im really glad to have another an excuse to revist this show again since ill be meeting alot of the cast at cons later this year. ill probably binge ahead since its been like 6-7 years and loop back as these reactions drop. really hoping this show does well enough and you enjoy it enough to keep on it and even try the spin-off after season 3

Bobby B

season 2 is when the show finds it footing and it never really loses it season 1 is propably the weakest season after that its just the most consistently good tv ive ever seen even weaker seasons of buffy are only weak in conparison to the great seasons. Like the worst season of Buffy is propably as good or better than the best season of shows that owe their existance to Buffy like Smallville or Arrow (and i was a fan of those shows too)

Bobby B

Also trust us Nat Angel will actually start contributing to the plot eventually they keep ya waiting for it and its so worth it

Daniel McGuinness

I would urge you to PLEASE try and not read episode 7’s logline at least 🙏🏻

Daniel McGuinness

“If the apocalypse comes, beep me!” ICONICCC One thing i love about shows of this era is that almost all of the performers playing in the Bronz are REAL artists playing their REAL songs! Charmed did it too, and it makes for many an iconic moment honestly. Cibo Matto’s playing at the Bronz tonight!!!!! The Slayer is always a girl, no exceptions. You find out more about the history of them in later seasons, it’s really interesting stuff

Daniel McGuinness

I keep wanting to argue that the show has more heart than camp and it should be taken a lil more seriously, and then I see what the next episode is oh my godddddd bruh 😭

Roook

I haven't seen these episodes in so long. This is so fun to rewatch

Roook

It's also why they have a "bar" for people too young to drink. Warner Bros Records wanted to advertise their artists on the new WB network. Created a whole vibe

James Lee

Nicky Brendon was less than a month away from turning 55 when he passed. He had a history of substance abuse and pretty severe heart problems. He had at least one heart attack a few years ago.

Steven Hok

Wow it's been so great reliving these episodes haha

Collinson

Sadly Brendon(Xander) had some addiction issues after Buffy and when finally sober found out he had a genetic heart condition which was sadly what caused his death.

Alexander Brown

Season 6 is the weakest season for me. Season 1, while awash with technical flaws and certainly struggling to find a consistent footing, is so comfortable in its camp that I see it as one of the most fun seasons.

PopeScooby

Season 4, though it has a couple of the best episodes of the series, is by far the worst season as a whole for me.

N

The actor who played Giles also passed away recently. He was also in Ted lasso. As the douche bag ex husband who originally owned the team
