Happy Tuesday Nat. Always excited to watch more Buffy with you 😊 Had a blast as always, especially you laughing at Cordelia's bad hair day. That was the absolute worst that could happen to her haha 😂

Randee Carreno

Happy "Buffy" Tuesday, Natalie! 😊 This is one of my top 20 favorite episodes of the series. We're already getting close to the season one finale. And then on to season two(my second favorite season of the series). Have a great day today! Stay Golden! 💛

Season 2 is where the show really found its feet and after that it was more or less consistently good even the “bad” seasons of Buffy are only bad in comparison to its best seasons. I’d say the weakest seasons of Buffy are still better than 9 out of 10 seasons of most other shows. The Spin off series also has that distinction once it found its feet halfway through the first season (it had a full season 1 order unlike Buffy season 1 which was a mid season replacement for another show so only had half the length) after that point the spin off was just consistently great TV

My most consistent recurring nightmares/dreams are losing teeth, skipping a class with the grad school professor who scared me most (even now, a decade after the fact), and riding or being surrounded by tornadoes.

Great reaction video. I think the big cross the main bad guy places his hand at the beginning of the episode is part of the old broken church that his underground lair is made up of. Also I think Cordelia's fear in the episode is being part of the unpopular and "dorky" crowd at her school. She seems like shes transforming into the stereotypical "geeky girls" shown in TV and movies in the 80s and 90s.

Yeah nightmares are weird when they are so similar. I also have sometimes a dream about not passing some classes for my german high school diploma. And when I lose that, they will cancel my access to university and then revoke my master in physics. Ironically the classes I failed were the english classes. And I more or less learned most of my vocabulary watching Friends and Buffy DVDs because back then german TV only had dubbed versions.

“Whenever you meet a new named character, you know they’re either gonna die or be involved in something traumatic.” Welcome to Sunnydale 😁🙂‍↕️

I've had the surrounded by tornados one a couple of times. It's weird I don't think I've ever had one with one tornado.

Dana

I get either flash floods or the ground collapsing around me. I get the flood one, my house was flooded years ago, but the earth collapsing..who knows. I think it indicates a fear of uncertainty.

It was mentioned in an earlier episode that the Master is trapped inside an old sunken church Buffy loves to lure you in with campy fun before hitting you with the heavy stuff. There’s a moment in the season 1 finale in particular that makes me sob like, this show was and is one of the biggest shows of all time for a reason! Granted most of season 1 is kinda hokey, and the visuals look particularly bad in a lot of S1 scenes because the HD remaster is the most widely available and it butchers the colouring - but still! Buffy Supremacy!!!

Mine is getting lost trying to leave a subway system and accessing a building with every way I take leading me back to the subway. I don't think I've had it since I had to retire because of mental health issues (GAD).
