Happy Thursday Nat. Yay, more Buffy with Nattie 😊 That was another fun one. A really cool mystery episode where they work the problem and everyone has their moment. Angel saving the day. That final scene could have been straight out of The X-Files. Great to see Cordelia being so appreciative and then back to her normal self in the blink of an eye haha. Thanks for another awesome Buffy reaction today Nat 😊

ill be meeting Charisma Carpenter Cordelia at a con later this year ive missed her the last few cons shes done here so its long overdue she has one of the best arcs in the series. Angel and Joyce will be there too along with Tara but you wont meet that character fro a few seasons.

One of the thing about Cordelia that we discover in this episode, is that she not only is not as shallow as she appear, but that she cares about school. She read the play and asked to meet the teacher for help, those not usual trait for the mean/popular girl in fiction.

The last truly batshit episode of Season 1 😭 CLEA DUVALL becoming invisible because she feels invisible and then being recruited by a secret government agency along with a bunch of other secret invisible teens trained to be assassins that never comes up again 😭 Buffy the show that you are! It gets real from here on out tho! S1 finale and season 2 & 3 are iconic with enough campy monster fun thrown in to keep you entertained

I told you you’d come around to Cordelia 😂 Her obliviousness and certain “brutal honesty” is just soooo addictive! Like, guaranteed she always says what’s on her mind, for better or worse… Queen 😭 I think Buffy has conflicted feelings when it comes Cordelia too because that’s who she used to be. May Queen winner, cheerleader, popular, before slaying came along and changed everything. Which I think is why they clash is much, but also why Buffy can give as good as she gets 🥹 Just two bad bitches maximising their joint slay

Even in the episodes where the main plot isn't that great or interesting you get a lot of fun character interactions and development. It's one of the reasons I don't like most modern shows. There's not enough episodes to really flesh out the characters.
