Once you power through season 2's sophmore awkwardness, Season 3 will be a fun, refreshing change. The best of the four seasons in my opinion!

This season overall feels like a bad imitation of the first season. They tried to recreate moments and they were just not done as well. "You like the Demogorgon? Now we got dozens of Demo-Dogs!" ..... "You thought that scene of Will being saved intercut with Hopper's past was moving? Here is a version with zero emotional weight." This season has a few good moments but overall it is just not as good.

If you think season 2 was campy, season 3 is going to be a doozy.

Rewatching this season with you for the first time since s4 dropped and I forgot how good it was. Really happy with the new characters that were introduced like Max and Murray. I remember when it was announced that Sadie Sink was joining that she got bullied pretty badly online, all for being te new girl. Even Finn (Mike) had to step in on his instagram to get people to calm down. Anyway, really enjoyed this reaction. So excited for s3!! It's such a fun change up in style, can't wait :)

While I would definitely consider Season 2 the weakest of the four, it's still quite good and I think it probably gets criticized a bit too harshly just because it has to stand next to the other seasons. I can't wait for you to see Season 3, I think you're really going to enjoy it :)

I rly liked the 2nd season but i think that the storyline with the sister in chicago wasnt needed. The seventh episode, when Eleven was in Chicago, it felt a bit like a filler episode to me :D in my opinion it doesnt fitted into the "flow" of the season (doesnt fitted into stranger things in general). I can barely wait to dive into the following seasons with you. I can watch this show over and over again :D

I agree with your feelings that season 1 was slightly better. I feel the same way. I really love season 2 but Season 1 was a hard act to follow. Season 3 is alot of fun but considerably darker. And season 4, well season 4 is master class stuff.

They do a better execution of the splitting up and connecting thing back together in the third season. It’s definitely more comedic in tone and has more to offer storywise than this season imo.

This episode made me CRY a number of times. Gah! hahaha, such a great conclusion to the second season. The first is still my favorite but this episode and the last few were all great watches. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well! I'm looking forward to more. :)

I agree but you should ask yourself if you would feel the same way if it was an older man looking at a female minor that way or an adult man looking at a male minor that way. I am not saying you're wrong and I generally do not have a problem with any of these situations in the context of fiction but still I find a lot of people are super okay with happening in the circumstance of female adult and male minor but then freak out with extreme moral outrage at any of the other situations. Anyways feel free to disregard this comment.
