Happy Feature Friday!!It's time to kick off spooky season with GET OUT!! What an amazing watch. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this one in the comments below.

Sorry for any confusion with my initial disclaimer in this video! I thought the timer was based off of the extended version, but I believe it syncs up with the original, theatrical version actually. Amazon Prime really confused me as they only had one rental version available but then the website was giving me issues.

Thanks so much again for your support here on Patreon! As always, take care and ✨stay golden✨

Haven’t seen this in a long time. Great reaction for sure! And im so glad Chris got out

So the alt ending is explained by Jordan Peele as it plays out. Basically, the cop car at the end was meant to have real cops in it. They arrest Chris and then it cuts to 6 months later. He is in prison for murdering the family, all evidence proving him innocent burned up in the fire started in the operating room. The movie ends with him being visited by Rod and walking away back to his cell. Peele explains that he wrote that ending during the Obama administration, a time when racial inequality wasn't plain and in people's faces, people thought because we had a black president racism was basically over. He wanted the ending to be a gut punch of reality. But then Trump got elected and all the far right people came out of the woodwork. He felt the country no longer needed that gut punch, they needed hope instead.

Samurai Shampoo01

What I loved about this movie is that Peele doesn't touch on the most blatant shade of racism, but a different shade that's less touched on. That shade being the social issue of envy and fetishization that black people( myself included) have dealt with for generations. An example in this movie would be the grandad representing Black men being envied for their speed/athletic ability. Another example would be that weird scene with the lady that was touching on Chris, asking "Is it better?" This was a representation of the sexual fetishization of black men, which has been a thing since the days of slavery. Also idk if you noticed but Georgina was captured because Rose's grandma wanted her hair, which is one of the many traits that black women are envied for (other traits being their complexion, lips, curves, etc) Anyways, dope reaction as always! ❤️

Happy Friday Nat. Not seen this movie, so I'm excited to watch along with you today for a spooky end to the week. This was a really cool movie Nat, building the suspense and making you wonder where it was going. "Flash all the black people" It wasn't that kind of movie Nat 😂 I did guess a couple of moments. I thought Rose was going to be in on it, and when Chris picked the arm of the chair, i thought he was going to put the stuffing in his ears, but I had no idea how 😀 Rose certainly was a fruit loop. "She's drinking milk with a straw. She's fucking crazy" ha ha Awesome Nat 😂 Thanks for a really great reaction today, and thanks as always for all your awesome work this week. You killed it. Have a brilliant weekend Nattie G 💛

Andy Jordan

Hope you enjoy it, friend. All of Jordan Peele's films are fantastic. If I had to choose a favorite, it'd be "Nope", which I saw in the theater a couple months ago, but you can't go wrong with any of the three he's made so far. Glad you're getting to see it for the first time along with Nat. Cheers!

Rey

Oh I love the spooky season.

Randee Carreno

Happy Friday, Natalie! 😊 I've been looking forward to this one. This is a great psychological thriller. The perfect way to start off the spooky season. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

Ben Wheeler

I can't remember if there has been a Knives Out reaction on this channel, but I've always kind of thrown whodunit murder mysteries into spooky season. So Knives Out or Clue would be great to see.

Danishprince

Happy Natmares 3 everyone! I hope this Natmares can be more focused on the classics <3

eemersonm

A Clue reaction would be awesome.

Ok maybe dumb question, but I went to watch this on Amazon (we have prime) and it only shows “watch trailor” and “add to watchlist”… when I add to my watchlist and then go there, there’s still no play or download option. I wouldn’t even mind paying to rent if it wasn’t included in prime, but there’s no option for that either… anyone know what I’m missing?

K.N.

Are you in the U.S.? I do not believe it is free on Amazon Prime in the U.S. You have to rent or buy it from somewhere.

Olivia Carney

Thanks for your reply - yep, I’m in the U.S., but thought if it isn’t free I could still rent it on Amazon, but I can’t seem to find that option. I’ll just try Apple TV.

K.N.

Are you using a VPN? I find that sometimes Rent and/or Buy options are missing for me with my VPN active on Amazon Prime. I was able to see the Rent/Buy options for it without issue on Amazon and I'm also in the U.S.

Jose Zamora Orellana

I'm approaching the 10th viewing and I'm still seeing new details and connections, a quality that's maintained in ALL of Jordan Peele's movies so far. They each have something that is independent and respected. So glad you enjoyed it, it was very worth renting (again) to revisit this movie.

Matt Gwinn

The only place its streaming for free is on FXNOW and DirectTV It's available to rent pretty much everywhere else (Apple+, VUDU, Google, Youtube...)

JayF

I couldn't get into this one when it came out. I think I made it 20-30 mins in and gave up. I'll give watching with you a try if it's out there to stream for free.

Olivia Carney

Thanks, I ended up renting it on Apple TV!

Olivia Carney

Okay yes, the fruit loops and milk scene is creepy, but it’s even weirder that she’s using Bing 😂

Julia

So excited Natmare season is here!! Brought out my orange and pumpkin lights just in time (: I figured you would enjoy this movie!! Great plot and suspense but not many dreaded jump scares. I highly highly recommend another Jordan Peele movie like Us or Nope, both were absolutely fantastic and I have yet to see anyone react to them!

BJ Stephens

I'm sure this is a hot take, but imo this film is good, but so overrated.

Dominik

I would really like it if you would watch Hereditary. I havent seen it myself, but this would push me to watch it. From what I've heard its one of the best horror movies in recent years

Dante

Everything Everywhere All At Once and Nope are my top 2 films of the year

Dante

I truly do not know if Nat would be able to make it through Hereditary lol

Keith Jacobsen

VERY fun reaction Nat. Get Out definitely bears a re-watch, knowing what you know now, SO many small details and double meanings. For example: When Rose and Chris hit the deer and talk to the cop, Rose isn't sticking up for Chris, she doesn't want a paper trail proving that Chris was last seen with her, in this car, going down this road, when Chris goes missing. The fruit loops are a visual metaphor, you put milk into fruit loops, all the colors mix and run together, and we can't have that, can we? Happy Nat-mare season!

Boomcity

Nat: Get Out! Ridley: NOPE

Tay Schumaker

Yeah there’s a lot of great stuff in there. Like the way Chris escapes from the chair, he literally picks cotton out of it. It’s a brilliant movie

Anthony Campbell

The grandfather was an Olympic sprinter that lost to Jesse Owens. That is why he was running sprints

kikoyito

Really great movie. First time I've seen it, check out the first "alt ending" if you haven't yet. But still, haven't seen a *real* scary movie reaction from you yet, and I'm really hoping Hereditary makes it this year. Please put it on another poll!

xander

we love us some product placement 😂

xander

this movie never gets old. the cast was incredible, and jordan peele is just the best at his job

Tarquin Pillay

I hate every holiday, including my birthday. Halloween and the month of October is my only favorite time and it is the only time in the year that I enjoy 😂

Philippe Dessaints

As the director's first movie, he knocked it off the park

Dennis Macko

This was a fantastic reaction! So much fun to watch.

themightyabe

Oh of course not....but that's half the fun!

Alan Kobb

You have the law wrong, Natalie. While the police have the right to ask anyone for their ID, you are not required to show or even carry ID. If the police arrest you for a crime, and you fail to identify yourself, then they can hold you in jail pending your identification. Under the law, there are some situations where you are required to have an ID and to present it on demand. For example, if you are driving and are pulled over for a valid reason, you must show a drivers license. In this case, the officer was entitled to ask for the ID, and he was not requierd to show one, however, you were correct in that it would probably be best for most people to be cooperative when asked for ID.

Kevin Mowery

Yeah, there's a few horror movies that I liked and won't watch again. If you watch Hereditary this year, I *might* rewatch it, but it's way too intense for me to watch it just for fun.

Natalie Gold

ahhh I think I was mixing up the "failing to identify yourself" with providing an ID. Thanks!

Green Nolan

Yah, the symbolism is what makes this genius The deer symbolizing Chris Him literally picking cotton to save himself And (my favorite) Her separating the "coloreds" from the "whites" when she eats cereal

Green Nolan

Very "stepford wives" including the photography as a hobby

CHRISTOPHER RUSSELL

I feel like you were nervous to start and kept changing topics lol mayne not

John Piazza

I really wish she picked up on some of the things that make sense after the movie. Like her not wanting him to smoke in the beginning (because they want to keep his body in good shape), the dad talking about his father being a famous runner and that ended up being the groundskeeper which is why he ran around the house, how Rose separates her milk from the Fruit Loops to keep “colors” and “whites” separate, Rose not wanting the Cop to see his ID so that they wouldn’t have a trail of where Chris was recently, when she told Chris a the beginning “my dad won’t chase you off the yard with a shotgun” and then she ends up doing it…

Jim Lent

Confession: I don't watch horror movies. I don't understand the appeal. But I always wanted to see this one because it seems so interesting. So, I actually bought it just so I can watch Natalie's reaction. Call me crazy, but this was a pleasure.
