Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had an awesome weekend 😊 Looking forward to continuing on the Arcane journey today. Just remember Violet Nat, and you'll remember it's pronounced Vye he he Such a cool episode. Epic in scale. Can't wait until the next one. Loved your reaction today Nat, especially at the end 😄

JonasDoesStuff

Yes finally, Can’t wait and will be watching along when I get home

covykins

Can’t wait to finish Arcane and ST, and start Wednesday!! Happy Monday everyone :)

siggemushu

Yay! Just gonna put my daughter to bed and then I’m watching this 🤩

siggemushu

Also, I cannot wait for the stranger things finale! I’m beyond excited for that one! 🥲😱😍

Benji Ford

Why dragging out stranger things for so long why are you doing kne episode per week?

Daniel Molina

Arcane’s portrayal of trauma & PTSD is one of the most realistic, creative, and respectful I have ever seen in media. Im a therapist, and I always appreciate a show extra when they can accurately portray these experiences on screen. It was incredible seeing a show like this tackle those topics without outright naming it. And its the reason why Powder has become one if my fav characters of all time. My heart breaks for her 😭💙

KingsCustard

Yeah it can be a little rough watching shows like this

adrianR31

'Arcane may just be one of the most gripping, nuanced, mature, poignant, and well constructed tv shows I've watched in years. Which is pretty fucking mind boggling considering it's based on an online multiplayer shooter of all things.' - drinker

Parker

These episodes are movie length and she already said she’ll be traveling this month so the schedule will be lighter. Would you rather a more spaced out and consistent schedule or for her to release everything and have no content for the back half of the month?

Amanda Ray

The last episode is really long and she’s traveling this month. I believe she said it’ll come out this week though!

Rabbid Dawg

lol. who's drinker and this 'shooter' game business. I'm glad because of Arcane we can finally have a good connotation to 'video game adaption'.

Benji Ford

@Onionp Not what i said all im saying is she released EP 6 then 10 days later EP 7 then 3 days later EP 8and even if she releases it tomorrow the gap between EP 8 & EP 9 will be 8 days which is rather useless and she could have switched this arcane episode for example for EP 9 to finish the only other show she is currently on and focus on arcane and later another show with some movies sprinkled in through the month

Dante

Mald

Amanda Ray

Yes it’s so cool to have a good video game adaption. It’s such a creative show! I’m hoping The Last Of Us on HBO will also be a good one.

Michael Lewis

For help on Vi pronunciation... In episode 3 Powder says her full name is "Violet", so it's like that instead of "Vee"

Hunter

Seeing Nat's excitement grow through the series is wholesome.

PKziggy

ahhhh so much fun watching you go through this journey, Vi >>>>>

Mastervodo

Y'all see how Nat's whole body just lit up when she realized it was VI at the end of the episode? :)

Amanda Ray

I think I have misophonia because I get really irritated and/or extremely grossed out by the sound of burps or human’s chewing, but for some reason I think the sound of my dog chewing celery is so cute lol he can do no wrong😂😂 Can’t wait to watch this episode!!

Daniel Andersen

about the costumes, I would think they simply fall under the "steampunk" category, should be quite doable to find a themed Halloween party for that particular style

Ryan

I had zero faith in the Last of Us being good but damn trailer looked great, trying hard to not let my hopes get to high for that one.

Rich House

It's quite normal for her to have 2 shows in progress at once. Complaining about inconsistencies in time between releases seems unfair, maybe if they kept consistent runtimes you'd have had a consistent schedule.

Joshua Kon

This was such a fun reaction. Also can only be good signs that nalalie is enjoying the series if she wants to cosplay a character.

Ryan

Other episodes get all the love for the big climactic moments and killers songs but I think this episode is one that sets Arcame apart. It’s such a great reintroduction and reformation of the story after the climax of the first act. It broadens the scope of the show and setups all the tertiary threads of the A and B plots while reintroducing us to characters and establishing the mains traits: Jinx/Powder has gone completely off the deep end, Caitlyn is a driven and idealistic young cop, Jayce is failing upwards, Victor is sick and getting desperate, and Vi punches stuff.

Parker

@Roei Elad She’s not going to forget about Arcane just because you prefer Stranger things more. There’s longer gaps between episodes because the episodes are longer, they take more time. It’s common sense…

Mastervodo

VI punches stuff WELL.

Rabbid Dawg

Thank you for the mention of 4. Every episode in its own way is great, but eps4 deserves alot of love for gracefully trampolining the series to its second half.

Rich House

People who struggle to enjoy Imagine Dragons can at least appreciate they made an orchestral version for the intro

Philippe Dessaints

If you want to remember either it's v-ee or v-eye, Vi is actually short for Violet I think

Riolkin

If you want Vi's take on her name, one of her in-game lines is "Vi stands for Violence". Philippe Dessaints also mentioned in a comment above mine that its actually short for Violet, but I personally like her version.

Rabbid Dawg

According to Powder, 'Vi stands for stupid'. ;)

Nathaniel Castle

Honestly i think you would make an awesome Caitlyn, get the full top hat tho!

Amanda Ray

Yes! The trailer looks really good! My hopes are definitely up 😭😂

Nightsin

A really fun fact about this episode is that the song Jinx is listening to while Silco is mad at her is actually her song that was made years ago along with her debut to League of Legends. Its a fun little homage. Also reccomend you to have a listen cuz the song is great.

Danishprince

Add some braids and colour the hair blue and I think you'd make an awesome Powder/Jinx!

Rich House

Also was the first collaboration between Riot and Fortiche for it's music video

Sam

misophonia, rocket league rage, tyler startin to sound lie me lmao ;-;

Lauren Dignan

Aaaah I was so hyped to finished work and watch stranger things finale with you😥 please drop it tomorrow? Also can't wait for Wednesday it's so good!! Happy Monday nat💜

Rich House

Think you forgot to put the Arcane tag on this Patreon post

Foxyguava

No dude... it's obviously short for Vimothy (jkjk)

Gwath Eledh

if you enjoy the music from arcane i guess it might we worth to check out some more music "from" riot games. many champions got their own theme and there are some pretty epic trailer/ shortfilms.

Robert Bonfante

Episode 4 "sets the table" after the time jump. It is also a really good episode for the characters that were introduced in episode 2. Caitlyn is definitely a favorite, and she gets a lot of development here. Jayce and Victor's storyline moves forward and we get another good look at Mel and both her motivations and her skill at social engineering. This episode is a nice breather from the heavier stuff that comes before and after.

Logan Kerlee

Always enjoy watching these with you Natalie! I'm going to echo what a number of people have said/will say - check out the music from the game/League of Legends. Not the main music or whatever but each character has their and it's all pretty dope. Looking forward to more! :) Happy Monday!

Logan Kerlee

It'll be coming soon! :) I'm not wanting to bump Arcane off but I'm really looking forward to Wednesday as well. :)

m Ramos

its Vi like Violet

Logan Kerlee

Oh for sure!! Steampunk may take a bit more effort but it's totally doable, even for crafting noobs. Just takes some time and maybe some trial and error. Ya'll have nearly an entire year until next Halloween if that's your goal. If it's a party.. well, sooner is better than later when learning something new.

Boomcity

Love to see that Nat is really getting into this. Rewatching along I remember how beautiful the series is,, especially when Jinx set off the pink and blue fireworks. Also the Art Nouveau style to everything. *chef's kiss*

Logan Kerlee

Yuuuuup. I'm not a huge Imagine Dragons fan but I can definitely dig on the orchestral version of the song.

Boomcity
>>97414094

Did Wednesday win? Nice, now I'm even more inclined to start it now.

John Piazza

Do we know the schedule for this week yet?

Orion Skies

So glad you're getting to enjoy this fantastic show!

Navjot Singh

Looks like you forgot to tag this post.

Myles Away

The first time I watched this series I found the intro a bit annoying but after falling in love with the series I now have positive associations with it. I am not running out to buy any Imagine Dragons albums but I don't skip the song when it comes on the Arcane soundtrack.

Rey

It always feels a bit suspenseful when you dont post a weekly schedule lol

Matthew seegmiller

member, you said Vi like violet? Although her hair isn't exactly violet.

SilverWolf

Ahhh! Loving how much you're enjoying the show :D I feel like it took a few episodes to get into it, but loving all of your thoughts. Good job catching so many details and character traits, love how attentive you are. Can't wait for the next one! Also Vi as in Violet :)

SilverWolf

@Rabbid Dawg Haha, Drinker's another youtube film reviewer. Pretty famously critical of most shows so it's a bigger deal that he likes it :P

SilverWolf

Yes! I was a little worried after the first three, but I feel like she's fully invested now and I am here for it!

Mastervodo

I may have watched Natalie's reaction to this episode 3 times today.

eladrin22

Vi pronounced like in Violet (which is her real name)

SilverWolf

I definitely just watched the end like 3x just now XD This was a great one!

Rich House

In the words of Vander, "You'll learn to love it"

Nick James

you can really start to understand why the fanbase for this show is so strong, almost to a fault. Truely a gem to experience many times over. So happy to see your experience with this show grow as well!

Powers209

I know Nat isn't reading these. I think she's afraid of spoilers. But I also think Nat needs to watch the Jinx Music Video.

Rich House

It's the kind of thing that would be a nice time fill during a stream

Ryan

As someone who doesn’t care for imaginary dragons when this song comes on the radio I rock it hard while looking around hoping nobody in the cars next to me realize I’m rocking out to Imagine Dragons.

Brian Jones

This series takes flight from episode one onward.... But this is the episode where it soars into the stratosphere. So glad you're enjoying it. It's easily one of the best animated shows of the last decade.

CheeseRepair

Ah yes, perhaps I should display my new inventions: a lazerclaw that can cut through stone, and a massive robo fist. Y'know, for arts and crafts and other totally non weaponized activities.

Jacob Klemann

an easy way to remember how Vi's name is pronounced is to remember her full name is Violet and to just shorten that.

Vivica the witch

I would have showed the crystal but not the new tech. The safe crystal on its own is a huge achievement.

Ana Fox

Your reaction to the end was everything! I know it's Vi (like eye) from Vi-olet but I also somehow always say Vi like v-neck when I don't think about it. So I get you! 😂

Grovpie

In regards to Halloween, I think you could do an amazing Mel Medarda cosplay!

Linus Marjeta

"People could easily use this for violence" *stares at all the tools we ourselves have that easily also could be used for violence*

Linus Marjeta

Why would anyone care in a negative way that you listen to Imagine Dragons? They're one of the best bands out there, and have released hit after hit after hit ever since Radioactive. Kind of like being ashamed of listening to the Beatles in a way

Britt V

So you know, this one doesn't seem to be tagged as Arcane. I had to search for it separately.
