Happy Feature Friday. Thanks for kicking off our weekend Nat 😊 I haven't seen this movie, so I've looking forward to seeing it and watchin along with you. That was a lot of fun Nat. Really wacky with some great jokes and a lot of good action scenes too. Look forward to seeing how Cameron puts this one together for YT. Good luck buddy 😄 Would love to see you watch the 2nd one too. Thanks for a really enjoyable video today, and as always thanks for all your awesome work this week. Have a great weekend Nat 💛

You can just put Top Gun: Maverick in a poll. It really is just the first movie over again with better cinematography and action and plot. You won't miss anything from the first movie because most of the non-action dialog is the characters talking about what happened in the first movie (I'm pretty sure they just assumed that 80% of the audience hadn't watched the first one other than internet memes)

Andy

I am SO happy this movie won. The re-watchability factor is so high for me. I love a good bromantic comedy, they should make more of those lool.

simon.shoots

holy shii that's the mom from Marvelous Mrs Maisel, you gotta watch that series! really funny

Dante

I agree that you can watch Top Gun: Maverick without watching the original Top Gun. You don’t really miss much other than maybe a little more attachment to the characters but personally I think that mainly applies to people who watched the original multiple times over the years. I know multiple people who watched the original for the first time just a few days before watching Maverick and afterwards felt like it wasn’t really necessary.

Boomcity

The kid who did HFS on YouTube was Young Neil from Scott Pilgrim 🤣

JDiesel

Johnny Depp and the other DEA agent were the original actors when this was a TV show

Justin Schuller

Your video ended rather abruptly, not sure if that was your intention. Good stuff until then!

Nautilus1492

Hi Nat and thanks for your reaction, such a funny and entertaining one, I hope you do the sequel hahaha, we need more comedy films reaction hahaha

Sam

Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise (the two DEA agents) are the original actors for the show 21 Jump Street from back in the day, thats why they are in this. This movie is just a silly fun popcorn movie, if you did enjoy this the second one is pretty much just as ridiculous and fun.

Steve J

the youtube link has the intro/outro

Andy

2nd one's not as good imo, but it's still super fun

Tay Schumaker

The sequel is also pretty great. Very meta

Juliana Montenegro

Glad this won the poll, I do personally love the sequel better! Hopefully it’ll make a poll one day!

jamie jones

Love this movie. Greatest action film of all time lol

Essero Eson

You have a sadistic fan base. I'll admit, this was not as bad as Tropic Thunder, but it comes close.

Natalie Gold

I made an error yesterday in uploading the raw pat vid without the intro/outro, but I feel it's not worth pulling the post down to redo it. But yes, Steve is right about the youtube link having the intro/outro :)

Nick James

perfect timing since this movie will only be streaming until the 30th on netflix

Danishprince

Movies don't always have to be deep and meaningful, sometimes silly and dumb comedies like this is just a blast to watch and it's always such a joy to see your reactions to them :D

Trevor S Bright

Yeah but watching the 1st one does have context for Maverick's relationship with both Iceman & Goose. It makes those friendships more meaningful in the sequel.

Trevor S Bright

Plus the original is some good '80s cheese with good action. Which when watching the sequel afterwards makes it more awesome that the sequel isn't actually cheesy but very good drama and even better action.

Justin Schuller

It's all good! I only brought it up in case it was something you weren't aware of. Definitely not a big deal at all.

Trevor S Bright

Nat, you should definitely do more action-comedies. The Rush Hour trilogy is a must. I'd also recommend The Other Guys starring Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg, it's highly underrated/hilarious.

adrianR31

It seems like you didn't recognize Ice Cube. The captain 😮

Rey

Man what good timing this and scott pilgirm both are leaving netflix this weekend

djKENTO

A lot of people know that Depp and Greico are old 21 Jump Street TV cast members… but they always miss the Holly Robinson-Peete cameo. She was on the show for years too and is the one who gives them the hot rod to drive.

SilentBobFather

The cop in the parking garage was also in the TV show. And sang the theme song. If you get a chance to watch the 2 part pilot of the show, you may understand some of the jokes better.

SilentBobFather

And since no one mentioned this the Sequeal is 22 Jumpstreet.

Dante

It was probably for the YT video

Thoko

Please no, don't encourage her to continue with this

Robert Miller

Why in an old Vietnamese church? Its an undercover operation, why not haha. Now to watch the sequel. It is just as funny! Don't skip the credits for more laughs.

DarthChef

Favorite part of the movie: Ice Cube shows up on screen while "Straight out of Compton" is playing.

David Ropp

The last kingdom! I would love to see you watch this show. Ive read the books too. 10/10

alistair dimes

Hey Natalie, Please watch the Hunger Games

Randee Carreno

Happy Saturday, Natalie! 😊 I'm so glad that you enjoyed this movie. I had fun watching your reaction last night. Fun Fact: Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise, who played the two DEA agents, were in the 80s tv show of the same name. And I think that they played their same characters in this movie. Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Ice Cube, Dave Franco, and Rob Riggle are all fantastic in this movie. And I very highly recommend the sequel "22 Jump Street", it's just as if not more hilarious! Have a great day and weekend! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

Alan Felicia

Correct, Depp & DeLuise played the same characters! Also, in the same scene at the hotel, the movie playing on the TV in the background was an episode from the Original TV series!

Alan Felicia

I'm sure the sequel will win in a pole!

Alan Felicia

Don't forget the subtle cameo of Dustin Nguyen (Tran) as an episode from the TV series was playing in the background at shootout in the Hotel! LOL!

kikoyito

Top Guns so fun! Maverick was great too! Been voting for it to win but I think you're just putting it against more popular contenders. Would love to see it keep showing up in polls

minuteforce

I actually kind of love how you knew absolutely nothing about "21 Jump Street" 😄

The Dingo

Good job everyone giving spoilers for the movie and potentially ruining any reaction does for the rest of us.

Eric Wallace

22 jumpstreet is a damn near perfect movie and even better satire of the genre and sequels. Definitely need to check it out as well. Also, johnny deep got his fame from the show 21 jumpstreet and hated being pigeon holed as rhe pretty boy (why he did a lot of weird roles early on.) When they went to do this movie, a satire of scraping old 70 and 80s tv shows for movies, they got the two original leads on board by promising to kill there original characters off

Heliastein

Only thing that should be set is watch 22 jump street next :P

Adam Doyle

you gotta watch 22 just street now!

ultraviolet

omg plz watch the last kingdom!!!!

overdev

22 jump street is even better, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are just really great directors, I mean Lego Movie, Spiderverse. They know how to make a unique movie :)

Jeff K.

I thoroughly enjoy the fact that not only do they use Straight Outta Compton on the soundtrack, but they cut from Ice Cube's verse to... well, Ice Cube.

Brian

Please just watch Top Gun so you can watch TG Maverick. Top Gun Maverick is possibly one of the best action films ever made. I would love to see your reaction to it.

Dylan G.

I agree, Maverick is definitely one I’d like to hear Natalie’s thoughts on
