Yes...this is a weird poll

Do any of these movies go together? No

But let's have fun with it anyway :)

Comments

Jacketb

You would probably enjoy Last of the Mohicans the most I think but it's in last place XD

KeithJ

The Last of the Mohicans is an epic film!

Chris Cooper

Finally maybe Minority Report will get a chance! One of Spielberg's most underrated films.

Stropheum

Finally a poll where people make sense

Michael GP

Come on Minority report you can win this one! Freaked me out when I was younger 😬

Jenny Chalek

The Karate Kid was one of my favorite movies as a teenager (when it first came out I was in high school). I used to do Tae Kwon Do (brown belt) and it was fun to watch the tournament and seeing familiar themes.

Danishprince

We all know this is a poll created purely because Nattie doesn't wanna wait on Minority Report winning a regular one and I love it :D

Leon Mabonga

KARATE KID KARATE KID KARATEKID KARATE KID KARATE KID KARATE KID KARATE LID KARATE KID KARATE LID KARATE KID KARATE

Ben Wheeler

This feels like a back to basics poll and it’s such a relief

Nautilus1492

Not a an easy one, they all deserve their reaction video hahaha, so, let's go!

Darryl Low

The first 3 on the poll kind of go together Nat. Two opposing sides battling it out 😄 I'll keep voting for the home country favourite Braveheart. One day we'll get our freedom 😂 Have a great Wednesday Nat 💛

Tony Mandler

The only reason I hate these polls is the losing movies never get another chance. And she always has great movies on her polls that we never see again.

Joe Blankenship

Can't believe Karate Kid is gonna lose to Minority Report.

Joe Blankenship

Karate Kid has been losing polls since I joined 3 years ago.

Jo

I'd enjoy it if Nat started watching 2-3 of the movies in each poll, like watch the winner first, then 2nd and 3rd place. Fewer polls but there's so many good movies.

Daniel McGuinness

I’m Scottish and even I voted for minority report 😅

JayF

I knew before I even clicked that the movie Natalie would love the most from this list would be dead last and that Minority Report would be winning. All of these movies are fantastic and deserve a reaction but I hope you eventually pick Last of the Mohicans to watch without a poll, Nat. I guarantee you will love it.

David Weinstein

I can't bring myself to watch any Mel Gibson films anymore. I'm actually descended from one of the principal characters of Braveheart, but I can't get past Mel's wretched antisemitism.

Johnny

Constantine is a fantastic movie.

Marko T.

Have you seen Austin Powers movies?

Vince Ledezma

I feel like she's been wanting to watch Minority Report for a while it's such an old movie for me that I can't even remember it anymore. It'll be fun to rewatch with her

Troy

Minority Report seemed a lot more far fetched in 2002 than it does now. (I mean, some parts still are. Won't say more until [or if] she watches it.)

Troy

At the very least the runner up.

Walter Lopez

You should bring back Last of the Mohicans in another poll. That's a movie you should see at least once but I'm picking Minority Report, HELL YEAH! It's a good time!

PiratedTVPro

How have you never seen the original Karate Kid, Nat? You're totally going to get swept up in it when you watch.

Wu Sha Ling

karate kid is a cultural milestone, but i know last of the mohicans is right up nat's alley. we'll get there some day

Baggie Mark

Wax on..... Wax Off.....

Baggie Mark

and who hasn't tried the Mr Miyagi's healing hand trick lol.... Oh where have the years gone....

—thoughtstorms—keith—

PiratedTVPro, i have a curiosity to ask you. If that's ok, please reach me @ KismetTheToad@gmail.com. Just curious.

LightsCameraJake

First time im ever seeing karate kid lose to a Tom Cruise film, especially not even one of his great ones.

Ali D

This whole list is great though, genuinely. You could just do one of these a week for the month and most people would love it.

Steve J

The Venn diagram of somebody who hasn't seen any of these movies must be very small, lol

Jeff K.

Karate Kid and Last of the Mohicans are my top two choices, but they're all good films. But hey, Natalie, you should watch Mohicans anyway since it takes place in your neck of the woods in Upstate NY! And specifically the Lake George area. (Even though it was filmed in North Carolina, I think?) Plus, it has one of the greatest scores of all-time.

K.N.

Minority Report is legit one of my favorite Spielberg films. Some of the shots and shot composition in that movie are just incredible.

Rey

Natalie polls always got me like fuck lets watch all of em , she migjt have to have ome month a year just for movie reactions

—thoughtstorms—keith—

All of these polls are interesting anthropology. Certainly, Natalie wants to give us what we want. She's cool like that. Also, it very possibly helps with YouTube ratings/viewings. Nothing wrong there. We do get worked up, it is a vote after all. Sometimes we campaign, i've seen just a little mudslinging, and if i thought Natalie would take a bribe, i'd offer one for a fair few films or series. {Sumbody diagram that sentence, stat!}. I've already committed TLDR, so i may as well list a few: Monty Python's Life of Brian [absFaveFilm] | Monty Pythons Flying Circus [even just a few episodes] | Strangers In Good Company (can only remember it is a heart-healing masterpiece of a simple film) | Big Train (Simon Pegg + series, even just one!) | The Lion in Winter (1968) | The Man From Earth (2007 thinkfest) | The American Astronaut (2001 indie musicalish) | Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead | The Lady's Not For Burning (1974 Richard Burton, free on YouTube) ........... And on the subject of suggestions in patreon comments: surely most of them are things we think will delight her... but there is also them that will delight ourselves just to rewatch, and the joy of bringing a favourite to one who can really appreciate it. (Apologies for the long comment, i hope anyone bored with it stopped reading and scrolled onward!)

Ian

Super tough choice this nat because they are all pretty great 👍 looks like minority report is going to take it but regardless I went for karate kid wax on wax off 🙂

Miles E Coburn

Honestly, all would be good. Indulge yourself.

SmokeAndACoffee

If Nat hasn't seen Karate Kid yet, should 100% do that one, then can follow up later with the TV series! Such fun silly nostalgia

Chris H

Who would have thought Cobra Kai would be as good a show as it is?? I've been hoping we get to it for a while now. Looks like MR will win though

Joe Blankenship

Be cool if one week she did 3-4 movies and took a break from shows. She used to watch more movies back before Mando and GoT.

Joe Blankenship

Minority Report isn't a bad movie. But I guess my age is showing because I think Karate Kid is an essential classic. Everybody knows wax on, wax off, except Natalie.

Adam Doyle

All good... the Karate Kid is easy and fun to watch, and the most digestible. The Last of the Mohicans and Braveheart are gory epics but also have sweet, sad stories. Minority Report is a cool futuristic action/detective movie. Probably my 4th pick of the 4.

HeyItsSuper

I voted Karate Kid because it could open up for reacting to Netflix's Cobra Kai. But all movies here are a solid choice imo

Sean Obrock

This was a very difficult decision. I truly enjoy Last of the Mohicans, but I think Minority Report won my vote for being a bit more exciting/interesting for a reaction video. Hopefully, LotM will make it in at some point!

Alan Felicia

LOL! Nat, you forgot to include Guardians of the Galaxy VOL 3 to make this Poll even Weirder!!

Squ33ky

I've not seen Braveheart in ages. Loved it

Squ33ky

ummm That will take a couple months

Mastervodo

I would like this, as long as there were like, 10-20 choices and everyone got to pick 3.

Dave Olden

“You can choose!” 🤔

Joe Blankenship

Ant Man is up next, but I guess she's burned out on Marvel.

Travis Starnes

Minority Report over the Karate Kid or Last of the Mohicans. Sacrilege.

Rosanne Stewart

Bummed to see Last of the Mohicans trailing. I love that movie.

Harry Reece

Oooo this is a tough one. I own all of these and will happily watch them all with Nat but I went with Braveheart just because I haven’t watched it fully for years! But looks like I’ll be watching Minority Report, never a problem. Reminds me of L.A. :)

Wild_Lee_Coyote

If Braveheart was more historically accurate I would have chosen it. But as a history buff there is just way too many inaccuracies that didn’t need to be there.

Sweetish_Jeff_26

I voted “Karate Kid”. If only to see you get to watch the “Cobra Kai” series which is awesome.

simon.shoots

its gotta be braveheart based on how she would react, can you imagine the ugly crying xD

Anonymous Groucho

You stay alive, Rosanne Stewart! No matter what occurs! I will find you! No matter how long it takes, no matter how far. I will find you! (Although I voted for Minority Report.)

Alan Felicia

Just out here planting a seed & having some fun! LOL!

Anonymous Groucho

So William Wallace didn't actually use the n or c word? I'd like to think Mel brought a little something to the table.

Anonymous Groucho

My vote for Minority Report is how you know I can qoute the movie without being obsessive like the qoute. Also, Michael Mann is a dick. I know first-hand.

Jim Finley

With you on that. For historical accuracy, Braveheart is right up there with The Hobbit and Star Wars.

Anonymous Groucho

Allthough he's known to spell "quote" correctly.

Rosanne Stewart

Michael Mann might be a dick but he doesn't shill for a cult, as far as I know. Plus I don't have to look at him when I watch Mohicans. It's been well over a decade since I've been able to enjoy a Tom Cruise movie.

Anonymous Groucho

Rosanne, you're in luck. This Tom Cruise movie that we're gonna watch is well over a decade old.

Anonymous Groucho

To be clear, I'm no fan of Scientology. But MR is a great movie and it's why I voted for it.

Marshall Mitcham

Yessss, Minority Report! All-time great sci-fi. Im sure you’ll love it

Anonymous Groucho

Jim, how can there be any historical accuracy with fictional entities like Lucas or Tolkien?

fanofactionflicks

wow "Last of the Mohicans" at the bottom and "Minority Report" at the top, just wow.

Jenny Tolls

I’m surprised The Karate Kid didn’t win. That movie is more up her alley and would be a fun reaction. Her audience is really weird.

Rosanne Stewart

I actually saw Minority Report in the theater. I didn't love it, but I thought it was pretty good. But I just really can't stand to look at Tom Cruise anymore. Scientology is absolutely destroying lives and he makes it significantly more powerful than it would be without him.

Roan Goddard

Braveheart please because it’s the only one I’ve seen 😅 and ik you’ll cry several times

Erik Stevenson

IDK this isn't super surprising to me, Nat has a decent chunk of fans that like Sci-fi, TKK is an 80's nostalgia choice and those have had some support but tend to lose to more modern movies in her polls.

Marty McGee

I know Minority Report will win. Think it's been on a poll before or at least requested several times. However, I hope you'll get to all of these at some point even if on your own time. Last of the Mohicans is an underrated movie, but one of the best of the 90's in my opinion. The soundtrack is beautiful and the locations are gorgeous. I'm a little biased there as I live less than an hour from most of those locations. Plus, it's Daniel Day-Lewis also in one of his more underrated roles. The climax of this movie is so intense. Karate Kid is just a classic and could lead to a great tv show reaction with Cobra Kai. Braveheart is my least favorite, but still pretty good. Just not a huge fan of Mel Gibson except his Lethal Weapon and Mad Max movies.

Erik Stevenson

Would love a poll of Daniel Day-Lewis movies, The Last of the Mohicans, Lincoln, Gangs of New York, There Will Be Blood, and maybe Phantom Thread would be a solid slate.

Jeff K.

Rosanna that’s why I also won’t vote for Braveheart; Mel is, obviously, a gigantic piece of shit. If we are grading on that curve, in this poll, the obvious answer is Karate Kid given what a lovely and wholesome person Ralph Macchio has proven himself to be over the decades.

Rosanne Stewart

I differentiate in that Mel Gibson isn't doing damage on the same scale as Tom Cruise. Not that I'm voting for Braveheart, either. But I'd be okay with Karate Kid. :)

Chris Moon

It looks like Natalie isn’t the only one who need to watch Braveheart. Come on guys!

Mannygogou

must look for the minority report

Nathaniel Wolf

Last of the Mohicans has such a great soundtrack.

Gilbert Gonzalez

I highly recommend 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016), underrated Micheal Bay movie and a true story. One of my favorites.

Anonymous Groucho

That whoosing noise was the point going over my head.

Anonymous Groucho

I'm not sure how much I could under-rate a Michael Bay movie. Mystery Science Theater exists for this reason.

Gilbert Gonzalez

This is true lol just mean it’s a bit more grounded then his usual.

Jenny Tolls

It seems to me that her audience would rather her watch movies that they grew up watching, rather than choosing what’s best for a reaction.

Jeff K.

I would throw In the Name of the Father as a DDL movie that need to be watched. That movie is sensational.

LightsCameraJake

Braveheart and karate kid losing to MInority report? You can tell this audience doesn't watch movies lol literally one of Tom Cruise weakest of his movies despite it being a Spielberg film.

PureGonzo

Don’t be pretentious. Clearly everyone here watches movies. I agree that both Braveheart and Karate Kid are objectively MUCH better movies than Minority Report, however the poll was asking which movie we’d like to see Nat react to, not which ones we think are the best. There’s a difference.

Daniel Vezina

Your finally gonna get your Minority report!!!

Daniel Vezina

Thank you Nat For "The Last Mohican", it just sucks that's it not gonna win. My favorite Daniel-Day Lewis performance, . We know he had great ones. In the Name Of The Father is my second favorite.

Tiger Chu

What We Do in the Shadows

MacGuffinStuff

My choice got absolutely bodied, damn, it wasn't even a contender lol That's some tough competition, honestly I hope Nat watches them all. I just picked the underdog to try to give it some dignity, and I genuinely really like that movie, and hope this isn't a spoiler but that last ten minutes is so awesome, just cinematically gorgeous, powerful. Michael Mann has some massive films, Mohicans, Heat, and Collateral are top shelf action dramas. I just re-watched Collateral yesterday and I'm still tripping on Tom Cruise, Minority Report is a really cool movie, I love pretty much every Philip K. Dick adaptation, but if you ever questioned Tom Cruise's range as an actor: Collateral, and Born On The Fourth Of July. To me, those two movies, plus A Few Good Men and Rain Man, it's cool he does his own stunts but it's still his acting that makes him a Legend, by Ridley Scott 🤘

RP

Last of the Mohicans is the the best on this list. MR is good too. But LoTHM is classic. If not now , you need to add this to the library

Jake w

I can't forgive Braveheart for being a historical mess.

Jake w

Please watch all of these movies

LightsCameraJake

Braveheart never claimed to be based on a true story despite the narration of main character, if there is no title card in the film then I never thought it was a true story 🤷‍♂️

Sweetish_Jeff_26

They’re all good movies. You really can’t go wrong with any of them.

LookingForOwls

Like many others here, I'm completely turned off by the disregard for historical accuracy in Braveheart. And it's not done in a campy alt-history way like Inglorious Basterds

Robert Bonfante

I can't really objectively judge Braveheart, being that I've never seen it. But there's nothing about it that suggests I would find it interesting. I have seen The Patriot, which feels like a very similar movie, so I feel that I have already 'seen' Braveheart. The Karate Kid is good, but it benefits a lot from nostalgia. It's not better than Minority Report, it just reminds us of those happy times in the 80s. Minority Report is slept on -- one of Tom Cruises's better films that's not attached to a particular franchise. It shows up a lot on these polls and does well, so my feeling is Natalie is at some point going to watch it anyway.

Matthew

The Last of the Mohicans is a phenomenal film. Every part of it is excellence in its craft.

Daniel Vezina

I miss the times when we had a movie on Mondays and Fridays

Thomas Richter

Wake alone in the hills With the wind in your face It feels good to be proud and be free And a race that is part of a clan And to live on highlands And the air that you breathe So pure and so clean When alone on the hills With the wind in your hair With a longing to feel Just to be free Is it right to believe In the need to be free It's a time when you die And without asking why Can't you see what they do They are grinding us down They are taking our land That belongs to the clans Not alone with a dream Just a want to be free With a need to belong I am a clansman

Hamish Hall

lmao Braveheart is trash

Ceedy

If you watch all of the Karate kid movies then one day you can binge watch Cobrai Kai which is amazing!

Jimathai

was about to say the same

Garrick Smalley

Hey just putting in a good word for Good Omens and Sandman here. I am hoping people see this and up vote this post.

Ben Curran

If Nat has never seen Braveheart I can't believe it's not wining these polls.... One of the best movies I have ever seen. My mother took me to see it when it came out in cinemas. Got to learn a bitta history also. One day she will see it I guess.

hanavald

i second it. a great and unigue series.

Fatal Spoon

Would love to see In Bruges or Banshees of Inisherin. Both very funny and tragic and a very good commentary on morality.

Tomas

Braveheart is very, very far from historically accurate though, so don't use it as a source to "learn" the history of William Wallace. While I also enjoy it quite a bit as a movie, it's mostly just a Mel Gibson bullshit fantasy. Still worth a watch!
