Out of all of these choices, I’d rather watch Predator, RoboCop and Karate Kid before watching ET and Scarface again. Not that ET and Scarface are bad but they are not something I need to see very often.

Certainly not, but it's not a series (I'm talking about the overall franchise) that, like, REQUIRES someone to watch them all in quick succession, so I could see her spreading the original trilogy (while ignoring the Hilary Swank movie and the remake) out and then doing Cobra Kai similar to how she's done Lasso. Just a few episodes at a time, a few weeks apart, etc.

Predator is one of the great action films. Directed by the same man who directed Die Hard one year later. It’s brilliantly simple, efficient in plot movement and entertaining. In my opinion, the best action film ever made.

Karate Kid is by far my top choice, but after that, it's Predator. (I think Scarface is overrated, I can't stand ET, and RoboCop is... fine, and has actually aged well in terms of its satire.)

Scarface is one of those classics that just didn't age well at all. It was amazing for the time it came out; the action, drugs, sex, violence, etc... but it's poorly shot, the editing and pacing are terrible, and the script is pretty laughable at times. If anyone other than Al Pacino had been the lead, it would be a no-name film that no one remembered. Still worth a watch just for the sheer amount of references and influence it has on other media, and of course, Al xD

I agree 💯. I just sorta lost interest in her channel after she decided a while back she wasn’t going to do longer shows and franchises.

Hoping Karate Kids wins the poll since IMO the best movie that will have a fun reaction from Nat! 80s movies just has cheesy vibes LOL! And those were my teen years thus the reason I love & enjoy Stranger Things! Oh, just a reminder to Nat, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is available on Digital LOL!

I definitely voted more selfish this round. Personally it was a toss up between Predator and Robocop. I really don't want to watch Karate Kid again. I couldn't finish Cobra Kai as the cringe just got too high for me. I feel Scare Face wouldn't be a good reaction. But I don't think Nat would have a bad time with any of these films.

I was just thinking yesterday, The Karate Kid would be a perfect movie for Nat to watch. It's almost surprising how good it is.

I was a little disheartened that Karate Kid didn't do better in the last poll, so hopefully it wins this time. Daniel and Mr. Miyagi may just be my favorite cinematic friendship of all-time. If she can start the Karate Kid path, hopefully it may eventually lead her to Cobra Kai one day, maybe the best legacy revival of the last 10, 15 years.

I personally do not see E.T. holding up. I recently rewatched it and while well filmed and acted, the story and pacing just dragged on for me. Some movies just are better as old memories

I'm with Logan on Scarface. But I'd be happy with The Karate Kid, too. Robocop is just such generic 80's/90's shoot-em-up action flick and Predator isn't much better. I would still really like to see her get back to the Rocky franchise at some point.

I'll always prefer The Terminator over Predator but that's me! I'm biased because I watched The Terminator when I was suuuuuuuuuuuper young! I also watched Predator young as well but not nearly as young as the other, Plus - come on! Arnie's always a bad ass, but I'll always prefer the cyborg to the man.

I'm a huge Scarface fan but I'll agree with you in that Pacino carries it. If it wasn't for him the movie wouldn't be nearly as great as it is. I do enjoy the soundtrack quite a bit though. I'm not even from the era the movie came out in - I was born in 88. I'll always feel that the movie's excellent and I"ll be the guy that introduces his friends to it.

@ AC555 - With two series I don't care about running simultaneously, I've been hoping to at least get some Friday movies I could enjoy. But so far it's been movies I haven't seen yet (I don't do first watches with reactors) or movies I don't care about. So I'm hoping Predator wins (or Robocop comes from behind) so I'll finally have something to watch.

Scarface is the most violent because it's based the most in reality. Robocop is decent but I don't think it's great.

These are all amazing movies, but I think the one with the best shock value and would warrant the best reaction is Scarface. That movie is just perfectly written and acted all the way through. Though it won't win because all the other movies are the stereotypical reaction winners in the reaction space and the blockbuster hits

Maybe I'm projecting because I saw Robocop for the first time at a very young age and was pretty scared by it myself. The guy with his skin melting off from the toxic waste gave me nightmares for months, along with Murphy getting dismembered by shotgun fire early in the film.

Once Natalie has seen the original Predator, maybe we can sneak in the Alien vs. Predator movie! Nat is gonna like Predator. Solid movie all around. Still holds up decades later. So excited!

Shame to see Robocop not getting enough love here, but Predator is still a fun time! Btw I don't know if you take suggestions other than polls here (maybe if I had a higher membership? I haven't checked) but if you do, I'd love for you to react to the One Piece Live Action Series when it comes out (August 31).

Agreed. Some people will say that she would need to watch Predator 2 since there's an Easter egg from that in Prey, but I don't think it's necessary honestly. I also don't think Predator 2 is a particularly good movie, but that's just me. Prey, meanwhile, is great.

I can tell you exactly the moment, if Natalie watched the show and got that far, that she would bow out from ever watching it again. And everyone who has watched the show knows exactly the moment I'm talking about. I cannot imagine Nat ever coming back from that incident.

As incredible and enjoyable I think you would personally find Karate Kid to be, I can't not vote for Predator. One of my favorite movies ever, with possibly the best movie monster to ever grace cinema. I hope you end up appreciating it and loving it as much as I do.

Yeah, Predator 2 is a hot (pun intended) mess. That's why I'd want her to see it! I don't get this obsession with everyone always just "making" her watch all the amazing movies. That's like doing a landscape painting and only using red. Watch more crazy and baffling movies, Nat. Full of dumb decisions, weaker effects, and ... Gary Busey!! Come on.

Natalie has said on her live streams on her 2nd channel that she used to watch The Walking Dead when it was really popular back in the day so she's most likely watched the first 3-5 seasons already and imo the rest aren't worth reacting to since the show drops off rapidly with season 7 and I know it gets better with season 9 but man it's just not the same

The Wolfman with Lon Chaney Jr' scared me when I was six. Now, literally thousands of horror films later, very little in movies can scare me. You can't go by what scared you as a kid.

I think that's a pretty ridiculous comparison, to be frank. Robocop had to be cut several times and re-submitted to the ratings board in order to avoid an X rating because its violence was so excessive and disturbing. Even with its R rating it's still infamous for it's violence. People look at the wolfman today and think it's quaint and charming that it used to scare children. Even forty years after it was released, Robocop stands apart as one of the most violent action films ever made. And I really doubt that Natalie, our little ball of sunshine who hates horror movies and has to force herself to watch three or four of them once a year, is going to have the same reaction to Robocop's violence as you do, someone who is a horror fan and has watched thousands of horror films willingly and enjoys them.

@AngelAlCapone - Ah! So if she used to watch it but stopped, I wouldn't be surprised if it was *that* moment that made her stop. I know that was what sent a ton of people off the bandwagon. (I realize it was a scene straight out of the comics, with a slight extra alteration/addition, but the way they handled it as a season finale cliffhanger will be studied in film schools for how NOT to do things.)

It's not ridiculous at all. The point is that things that scared you as a child don't necessarily still scare you as an adult, or at least they shouldn't. What film it was is irrelevant, you grow up and realize that it only affected you because you were a child and it played on certain specific fears you had at that time. And the violence in Robocop isn't even that bad compared to a lot of action films. Sure, it makes all the "most violent action films ever made" lists but if you've seen the other films on those lists you know it barely even belongs there. You even said yourself that you may have been projecting as you saw it at a very young age - which I'm pretty sure is correct.

At this point if people want her to watch TGM, they should just be saying that. It's a good enough movie that you don't actually have to have seen the original to understand what's happening. Sure, it connects some dots, but even if Nat sees the original she's not going to have the actual nostalgia that a lot of people have for it.

I finally voted on a movie thats winning lol. I love Predator! As a kid I was terrified of this movie though. I remember about to see P2 as a little kid with my dad and older brothers. At the last minute I chickened out and said I couldn't watch it lol. My mom took me to see Problem Child instead (great comedy). Eventually I saw P2 and loved it, almost as much as P1.

Karate Kid, Robocop, and Predator ALL have to be watched. Essential movies. Recent stuff can be pushed back. There’s so many classics that you should watch. Definitely watch all of the movies on that poll (sooner rather than later) and the suggestions in these comments. Someone mentioned the Truman show. Brilliant movie. Seriously, watch the classics.
