It's time to pick a new series to watch alongside Legend of Korra!I know these are all semi random, but these are shows I've gotten requested a lot. Some are definitely longer than others, as it's kind of difficult to make polls with shows that are all the same length and popular. For the longer ones, I will do my best to power through them at a faster rate than we did with Ted Lasso haha. I think once I'm back and settled in LA after this summer, my travel schedule should calm down a lot making it easier to film. 

I also thought it could be fun to include Buffy the Vampire Slayer in one of these polls, but oh lord that show is long... 

Let me know your thoughts on doing that show in the comments below. If I see enough love for it maybe I can include it a poll in the future.

I love buffy so that would be so exciting but I get it’s long and an older show so the demand probably isn’t there as much as these new shows. If you are interested in it though, you should watch it!

All of these are so good but for streaming, Sherlock, Sandman, LD+R in that order. Peaky is an absolutely brilliant show and you should definitely watch that on your own.

Sherlock isn't available to stream, at least last time I checked. Should prob be subbed with a different highly requested show, like The Expanse! Or Invincible like some have mentioned. I'd love to watch Sherlock with Nat, but I don't think it's available.

Although Sandman isn't my vote, it would be cool if you did more polls with single-season shows, just so that it's not a long-term commitment and you can move onto something fresh and new after like 8 eps. Severance would be another great show that would fall into this category.

Dude that’s how voting works. It’s been at least 3-4 polls and it always comes in 3rd place. She might get to it eventually but it’s not “the will of the people” so it isn’t going to take up a slot. There are a lot of amazing shows that I would love Nat to watch (The Wire, The Sopranos, Justified, etc.) and she is never going to see them, cuz they’ll never win a poll. I’m not going to pout about it. If she stops watching content I want to watch, then I would quietly unsub and wish her and her patrons well. That’s what adults do.

Buffy is probably less consistent between each episode than most of these shows, but it’s also more iconic, influential, and probably better overall than any of them too. Easily one of my favourite shows, and I very much hope you do end up watching it soon. Hoping Barry wins this one so I have an excuse to catch up on it, but Sherlock would be fun too, even if its quality falls off massively in the last season.

Buffy is not a great show for streaming. If you didn't watch it growing up it lacks the nostalgia factor and is pretty mid.

Angel isn’t until season 4 though, so it’s usually either easy by that point because they’re hooked, or the series isn’t for them. I think normies are halfway through now and it’s supposedly their favorite series(that they’re currently reacting to…don’t know about all time).

Sherlock all day! Having to buy ($15 per season) is a downside however, it is one of best shows I've come across. Amazing actors/actresses, character dev, plot, cinematography, etc. Well worth the price imo or 🏴‍☠️ 😏.

Barry is literally perfect for Nat. I mean she’s worked in the industry that much of the show is about. Don’t come for me but I think Sherlock is easily the most overrated show of all time. It only has a couple good episodes and Benedict carries the rest. Not to mention it’s extremely hard to watch in the US without buying all the episodes

Yeah I didn't want to say it in my original post but I will now: It's one of the greatest shows of the last 30 years. And it's a damn shame that it didn't win a million awards. It just came along at the wrong time. At the end of Breaking Bad and Mad Men, in the middle of Game of Thrones, at the start of Handmaid's Tale... Along with other buzzy shows that everyone talked about, crowding it out of the conversation. But at least it won a Peabody and an acting Emmy at the end. But it deserves so much more attention, seriously. One of the few shows that is utterly top tier from beginning to end.

That can be said for any show. There’s always a possibly “better” show. She asked for our opinions so I gave mine. And we don’t know how long it would take because that would depend on the schedule. She’s getting through LOK pretty quick and that’s not a short show albeit a different runtime. That being said for this particular poll. I do hope Barry wins.

She's getting through LoK at a snails pace. She watched 4 episodes a week of ATLA, 2/week for LoK is taking forever. The issue with super long shows like Buffy is ostensibly they only have to win one poll, and then dominate the schedule for potentially years. Watching more, shorter shows during the same time frame gives room for way more polls and for a lot more people to get a show they want to be seen.

Nat, if you watch Peaky, you should start out with using the subtitles. They have really heavy accents and it just makes it easier to follow along with the subtitles.

I would love to see your reaction to Buffy. Yes, it is long but I believe you would enjoy it. If you do decide to watch it, check out the movie of it first. The cast is different but the show treats it as canon.

I love LD+R but it doesn’t really feel like a show worth reacting to since each episode is self contained, it’s more like fun little shorts to watch at your own time. I’d definitely be up for a casual watch along tho! Also Buffy is the GOATed show to react to, so many iconic moments, changed tv history 😭 season 1 is a little weird cos the show was finding its footing, but it’s definitely worth the watch

uh i am so hoping for for Sherlock, would finaly be a show i personaly actualy enjoy watching along :D P.S. i think LD&R isnt realy good reaction stuff (when asking for a SHOW), just because its not actualy a show but more a bunch of completely unrelated short films. but having said that, many many of these short films are super cool and interesting. might be a good choice to just do one every now and then and ignore that they are labelled with episode numbers.

Peaky Blinders please!!!!!! It is consistently good throughout, 6 seasons with 6 episodes each so it's a great length for reactions, phenomenal acting work from a really brilliant cast (great surprises in the casting department too), great emotional moments each season which will be great to see from Nat AND lastly: Cillian Murphy (need I say more)! Do the right thing y'all vote wisely ;)

I do think you would love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It came out when I was 29 and I started watching it then. I fell in love with the writing and enjoyed the characters so much that I looked forward to Monday night TV. I think it would only take you 3 years at one episode per week but you could always do just season 1 to make sure you like it and want to continue. Looks like Sandman is tied for last place, bummer.

Sherlock is a great show and only 15 episodes over 4 seasons, but average 90 minutes, unaired pilot is only an hour. Both stars are now in the MCU Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

Damn, no expanse, again. big sad. Least it's available on Amazon prime, it's amazing all the way through and it follows all the books. Sherlock is a show you have to pirate becsuse most people here sure as heck are not going to spend all that money to buy the whole show since its not on atreaming. In university I took a course studying Buffy. It was my first time watching through it and we ended up averaging ~11 episodes per week to fit it all in. My favourite homework I ever got. I super recommend the show, a lot of good stuff there.

I'm pretty excited that Sherlock is winning this poll. I remember discovering it when The Hobbit was announced and I was checking out Martin Freemans previous work. I think watched the first two seasons in two days, told my sister she had to check it out and she watched them both that day/night lol and was obsessed with it. I love a BBC show.

I try not to be a bummer, but I really dislike Steven Moffat as a writer. He thinks he’s the most clever person in the room when he’s anything but. His interpretation of Sherlock is rooted in bad writing and cheating the solution to nearly every problem. I hope you like it, maybe a new perspective can help me see something good in it.

Just because you think it's too long (or just don't want it here) doesn't mean other people shouldn't have the chance to vote for it. I've had to sit here with nothing to watch because people voted in Ted Lasso and LoK, and now it looks likes Sherlock's going to be next, but I didn't try to find some BS reason why they shouldn't be on the channel. Natalie can watch the shorter series during second part of the week. Not watching a great series like Buffy, or any other great series, just because it's long is silly.

Again, what does that mean? Just because she worked in the industry doesn't mean she should must watch Barry. In fact that makes me less interested than I already was in her seeing Barry. It's just be Nat making a bunch of comments on how accurate, or inaccurate, the show is. Richard - Yeah I'm in the same boat, I dislike LoK after season 1 and can't stand Ted Lasso. Thankfully those are comparatively short - LoK seems on track for ~6months to get through. putting a show in a single poll that would take Nat three years to work through is insane. If she watched way more episodes, sure. but she doesn't.

Well there's really not many newer series I care about her watching, and the ones that I do care about don't win polls or she won't watch. There seems to be quite a bit of interest here in her watching Buffy, so I still say put it on a poll at least., Nothing's going to please everybody though, so either way, if it wins or loses, there's going to be angry people here.
