Will Berry

We need her to get into the evil dead franchise fr, cult classics

Will Berry

Or the conjuring, she’d be way more freaked out by the conjuring though 😂

Brian H

It follows or evil dead. C'mon guys

Jorgalorg

Anything but the conjuring please god

Mastervodo

Totally agree! She loves Sam Rami! She needs the experience! Vote Evil Dead for Nat's sake!

Siti Dee

Question about The Ring! The original japanese or the american remake version?

minuteforce

These are all good picks, noooo

Darryl Low

Happy Wednesday Nat. Ooooh these are all good choices. Going to go with The Evil Dead as I think it will bring the best and shoutiest reaction from you 😄 Have an awesome day Nat 💛

RationallySassy

It Follows has my vote. It left an impression on me - it still had flaws of course, but I liked its simplicity and the way it was filmed. I also like The Ring, and the Conjuring series is an interesting one - kind of funny at times (to me) but also scary.

Jason Gillman

I’ll vote for Evil Dead but I don’t expect it to win. I don’t expect Nat to go through the whole series so I kinda just wish it was Evil Dead Rise honestly. I would love to be wrong and we get to Evil Dead 2, so vote people!

Leisurous

Let’s go conjuring!!!!!

Ian

Happy weekend nat can't really go wrong with any of these tbh so I will probably close my eyes and hit one randomly seeing as whatever wins will be good fun 👍

Alberto Ramirez

Damn, what a line up. I went with It Follows, but any of these will be great.

Joseph salazar

Conjuring is great the rest were ok but 1st is great

Boomcity

Evil Dead!!!!!!!

Mike Hell

When I saw Conjuring, I knew the others were screwed lol

Danishprince

I freaking love Natmares - Best holiday of the year! 😍

Anonymous

I don’t think it really matters any one of them will make Nat poop her pants to some degree so we all win no matter what

fanofactionflicks

The conjuring eh I'll have to watch it, voted for "The Ring"

Jenny Tolls

The Conjuring sucks lol but it seems like most of her fanbase likes very basic stuff so 🤷🏻‍♂️ hopefully The Ring will win one day

Mastervodo

(Chant). Evil Dead. Evil Dead. Evil Dead. It's gaining! Woo Hoo!

Mike Hell

Yeah mostly popular mainstream movies/shows end up winning polls, which I guess is normal? I'd prefer The Ring or Evil Dead but The Conjuring isn't a terrible film (the first one, anyway)

Scum

Passing over Evil Dead? :'(

MedievalMeal

Quiet Place 2 is great. that first sequence of day 1 is wilddddd

Walter Lopez

Evil Dead! If it doesn't roll, Keep it in another poll!

Walter Lopez

Nah bro, Nat is definitely going to hate everyone who voted for Evil Dead. lol

Troymk1

Evil dead 2 is the superior version

Arthur Bright

It is, but she should see the evolution

Alan Felicia

Yeah, The Conjuring for sure. Should be Fun to watch the Jump Scare! LOL!

Scott Ward

I would highly recommend Evil Dead 2 for a future poll. It's disturbing yet hilarious. Bruce Campbell is a genius in that film, especially the "Give me back my hand!" scene.

KamikazeCDN

Man, truly no love for It Follows

Richard Maurer

I can almost guarantee it's the US version, unfortunately.

Kessa_Brae

Honestly it’s a fantastic horror, the only reason I didn’t vote for it is it scared me too much to ever EVER watch it again 😂

Richard Maurer

I was going to vote for the best film, It Follows, but it has no chance. So I voted for the the second best film, Evil Dead, because it has a slight chance at least. None of the rest were worth voting for (I would vote for Ringu but not the US version, The Ring)

Troymk1

Disagree. I feel it’s the same movie with a better script and budget. ( and removing a certain egregious moment )

Jason Gillman

She’s putting it up against classics like Halloween and Evil Dead, once there’s less competition it’ll have it’s day

Natalie Gold

I guess I thought I needed to start with the original...does it not matter?

Troymk1

The original definitely has a schlock horror, B movie vibe. Evil Dead 2 (to me) is the best comedic horror film ever.

Jessi

I voted for It Follows anyway. With enough love, maybe it can return to another poll, I hope!

Richard Maurer

I would if we were allowed more than one vote. If it looks like Evil Dead has no chance near the end I'll switch it to It Follows.

ShyFaux

So happy to see evil dead show up on the polls!

jamie jones

Evil dead 1+2 at the same time would be sweet

David Sumner

Evil Dead 2 is the one we really want to see. Then Army of Darkness!

justajester

2 is a remake of 1 and it creates the true evil dead vibe. Evil dead 1 is a pure horror movie but evil dead 2 is what made the franchise a cult classic

Paul G

It Follows will sadly never win one of these polls because not enough people have seen it.

jamie jones

Yeah evil dead 2 is definitely a sequel. Whether its better or not doesnt mean skip 1

Brian Flaherty

my fav out of all the choices but I hate horror so I'm going to be skipping out on all these I feel you man it follows is great thought i voted to help the homie hopefully it gets more votes

Ben Wheeler

Aside from Quiet Place 2 this may be the most hardcore Natmare poll ever

Daniel McGuinness

I could never get into the OG Evil Dead movies, the effects are amazing and I admire it’s impact, but i missed the boat on this one 😅 Casting my vote into The Ring 👁️

Richard Maurer

Evil Dead 1 is a better horror film, ED2 is a better comedy. I prefer horror movies.

djKENTO

YES PLEASE! Talk to Me is FANTASTIC.

Daniel McGuinness

Unrelated to natmares season, but I’ve been watching Ahsoka lately and I was nervous about it meeting my expectations before it’s release but it’s so GOOD! Star Wars is back, baby *finger guns* Anyway, with the final season of Korra quickly coming up, it made me want to recommend The Clone Wars for a future animated show poll again! Doesn’t have to be the next, but it’s never too late to dig in to that story 😊

Razor Bikini

Would love to see your reaction to Malignant. Very fun and campy horror film from James Wan.

Sweetish_Jeff_26

“When A Stranger Calls” (1978). Oldie but goodie.

Andy

Evil Dead is a bit too relentless to be enjoyable to me

Hannah Gs

I guess I'm the only one that finds It Follows highly overrated lol

Arry

Conjuring All The Way!!!!

djKENTO

Unfortunately nothing. The US version is still deeply weird and scary. I think Verbinski does a tremendous job with the material.

djKENTO

Honestly I saw EVIL DEAD 2 first. ED2 covers the same ground, but with a better budget and a sharper wit. But the first gets great reactions and if you don’t start with 1 you’ll never hear the end of it.

djKENTO

I adore Malignant. It’s so on the nose in the best way. The score is HILARIOUS.

Essero Eson

I think I figured out the equation the sadist use to chose which horror film they vote for. The one that has the most jump scares always gets the most votes. Just for the record. Horror that relies on jump scares isn't scary, it's just startling. You can pretty much get the same effect from any cheap haunted house at halloween.

Colter

Evil dead is a great franchise to get into. Evil Dead 2 is a super fun movie.

Colter

I want evil dead 2 so bad

Rog

the ring to me is the best reaction movie with the conjuring a close second. it follows and quiet place kind of aren't horror to me even though I like both. no opinion on that evil dead i never seen it.

Rog

And Malignant must see

Ariana Mitchell

it follows is genuinely great! hope you get around to watching it if it doesn't make patreon

Jason Welzin

If Evil Dead pulls the win, you gotta watch Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Evil Dead(2013) and Evil Dead Rise eventually

Rey

It follows is so good, but i do enjoy the xonjuring as well im loving spooky season already

jamie jones

I thought ash vs the evil dead was an awesome sequel series too.

Logan Kerlee

Really, the only reason why I'm voting for Evil Dead is to eventually get to Army of Darkness. That one's my favorite in the series!

Patrick Mitchell

Evil Dead all the way, Evil Dead 2 is my favorite horror movie

Richard Maurer

Hard Disagree. The US version is a poor imitation that loses the Japanese cultural significance of the original. It's a movie for people who can't read subtitles, for whatever reason.

Richard Maurer

I like how VKunia just watched It Follows last year - no poll. You're never going to get to the good horror films through polling.

Maxx

If you want some werewolf movies then Dog Soldiers is pretty kick-ass

.

Please do TALK TO ME! by the rackaracka twins!

Thomas Richter

Evil Dead is the only movie I'll be watching this year's Natmare season.

Paul G

It took several polls and about 3 years for Halloween to win. The voters here always go populist and new.

Opticblasting3

Oh nat you're going to have a lot of fun with the conjuring lmao

Richard Maurer

Annnnnd the worst film won. Thanks, patrons.

Rod Reavern

All of them were good choices for Natmares, but I have to recommend Trick 'r Treat (2007) because it's the ULTIMATE Halloween-themed movie. It is a must-watch Hallowe'en masterpiece! Hopefully it'll make it into the Natmares poll next year.

Paul G

Trick 'r Treat has as little chance as It Follows at winning a poll.

Richard Maurer

Wow, amazing response. How can I argue with that?

Ed Green

By explaining why you dislike it the most. I've never heard of it so have no context by which to judge, short of looking it up.

Richard Maurer

Well it's really just my opinion but, short answer: The Conjuring is just big studio cookie cutter jump scare reliant horror - nothing artistic or interesting about it.
