Despite all his efforts the overwhelming difference proves to be too much for our boi.However, there is still a little surprise that came from an older doting sibling who cares for his little sister :X.Our boi then raises to the occasion! And he really did think it thru for this fight. It is kinda wild that he used his brain and everything he learned thus far to take down the dude! Fight on~!

There’s not many ecchi series I’ve actually found engaging, much less seen through. Helps considerably when those elements tie directly and unrepentantly into an actual story, which works when most of the cast are literal devils. There’s yet more world to explore and Fascinating characters to meet, so look forward to Issei’s escalating shenanigans!

Glad you enjoyed the finale. DxD is the first anime where i binged the fantranslations of the lightnovels back in 2020 or so. These arc finales are the reasons why DxD will always be my favorite anime. Skip the next part if you don't want explanations on how the adaptation is handled in farther seasons. No story spoilers mentioned, but it could take a bit of enjoyment out of season 3. ----------------- When it comes to the adaptation, season 1 and 2 are perfect adaptations of the anime. Basically nothing gets skipped from the ln. Season 3 is enjoyable if you haven't read the lightnovels, but it skipped entire arcs, mixed up the order of what they did adapt and added an anime original ending. Season 4 undergoes a studio change because the author wasn't happy and the artstyle changes to be more in line with the light novels. It has to retcon a bit of the S3 ending, so don't get confused. Some people dislike season 4 due to the artstyle change and say it's worse, but honestly, it's just as good as the rest. ------------------ Either way, have fun with season 2 when you get around to it. It has my favorite moment in the anime.
