Family visiting trip EP~!Our boi gets to country side to visit his elders! But we are in the moment where by they are just chatting almost daily to be close to each other :X

He attempts to snap some good pics for Yamada but sadly the only thing snapping be his arm =w=In this ep thou, our boi gets caught up with the slimy douchebag who is so persistent on getting Yamada's no :C.

And Moeko really stepped up to assist! Nice one girl!

But it gets really obvious for the ladies in our boi's family that Yamada fancies our boi a heck lot LOL.

Moeko's the GOAT. It's pretty funny how we started in episode 1 where Ichikawa referred to Moeko as "a bitch" to now lol.

Looking forward to season 2, glad you enjoyed this series Yui. I recommend that you look into "you and I are polar opposites" I think you like that series too.

I love how season 1 finishes. I knew some would've preferred a confession scene from one of our 2 main characters, but Ichikawa instead thanking Yamada for being a part of his life at this point felt more beautiful in a way. Ichikawa now reflects back on his actions on why he acted way he did in the early episodes, and transitions to him accepting himself; it follows that saying of "before you can love others, you need to be able to love yourself" and how Yamada was able to help him see that.

The moment between Yamada and Ichikawa where he calls his murder books his "armor" and then Yamada immediately "Breaks through the armor" by pushing the books aside, not because they are weird or she thinks its gross or whatever, but because he doesnt need that armor around her... she will be there to support him no matter what and gives him a reassuring hug which he FINALLY hugs her back in such a lovely tender moment animated brilliantly

Some things about the OVA. -The skit involving Ichikawa wearing an oversized gym uniform was written by the mangaka to resolve what could have been seen as an oversight regarding how Yamada can perfectly fit into Ichikawa's gym uniform and his raincoat in season 1, despite him being significantly smaller than Yamada. I assume that since they are in junior high, Ichikawa believed that he would get a growth spurt eventually doesn't want to rebuy another uniform. Though it is funny to think that Ichikawa assumed he would get as big as Yamada since the uniform perfectly fits her. -In that same skit, it's interesting to note that some of the characters might appear to "anime onlys" as off-model, appearing very round (best example would be that screencap Yui took of Yamada sticking her tongue out with the candy, where her face is alot rounder than normal). It might be because some of these skits happened really early on in the manga, and the mangaka's art style changed drastically over the course of the manga's run (if you want to take a look for reference, you can just check chapter 1 and see how differently some of the characters are drawn). The anime adaptations generally is closer to what the manga looks like now for comparison. If Yui has ever read the JoJo manga for example, it would be like how the artstyle transitioned drastically in like part 4 or part 7. -The last skit was Christmas themed as the OVA aired in December, roughly 1 month before season 2 aired.
