But I do like how insightful this ep is. As they talk about their feelings and insecurities just for a bit. Giving our girl a bit of inspiration for her career X>

The peak just gets higher here and I squealled a bit in this ep X:Since something happened to Yamada as she was talking to our boi. He goes on a panic mode to make sure she is alright. And in the mist of all that panic, we ascended. [I think you know why :X]

Looks like your prediction of the Moeko x Adachi ship all the way back in episode 3 of season 1 became true XD. The hair colour attribution does make sense since both are loudmouths and disliked by Ichikawa early on. Subtle detail, but Yamada's outfit at the train station seems to be partially inspired by Adachi's mother lol (similar choker and earrings).

Fun fact for episode 9: the two featured accounts are real Twitter/X accounts! Ichikawa's account, thanatos_moros, doesn't have too much but it still has some fun easter eggs. It consists of only a single post, a screencap of him getting blocked by pig_man1209. The profile pic includes the bunny girl figure Kana got Ichikawa for his BDay (or possibly a different figure since the colors are different) and he only follows 1 account: the official Fate/Grand Order account. Nico's account, pig_man1209, has alot of stuff, but I will warn that it does contain manga spoilers. As expected the account feels very almost idol-otaku, stalker-ish, and written by a not mentally well person lol. The handle pig man and her account being called Pig B*stard is likely a reference to the mangaka, Norio Sakurai: Norio's Twitter account is lovely_pig328. Norio's account is a mix of promo for the manga, some extra drawings (like a fun recent one is Ichikawa visiting a serial killer museum), pics of her cat, and degen stuff.

Peak! Lessgoo!! We got the episodes after Ichikawa finds out Yamada likes him and Ichikawa getting more friends, getting popular, and being truer to himself about who he is. I'll take a page outta his book and accept that Imma write another essay, let's go! Episode 7 we got Ichikawa, after knowing now their feelings are mutual, being more open to himself and Yamada about who he is, with him opening up about how creepy he's being, following her, and our girl not only accepts it, but is ecstatic that he cares so much. Then after seeing our boy get more deserved attention from his Senpai we've got one of my favorite ways an anime has transitioned into the OP ever. Ichikawa singing the OP and it transitioning into it is so peak, man. Elevated by the OP being not only such a banger, but so feel good too, it's just Mwaaah *chef's kiss*. As you pointed out, seeing Ichikawa being able to talk so casually with Hara feels so in your face, and so nice. As Hara herself said, they are a lot alike which I feel contributes to Ichikawa's ability to be able to handle talking to her so well. Then, just like episode 9 of last season, I love how a simple misunderstanding isn't blown out of proportion like with other anime and it's barely brought up because the characters know that it's not a big deal, and I love how Ichikawa is so smitten at Yamada's jealousy since he now knows she likes him and can clearly see that she is jealous because of that. The whole White Day date is so peak then it ends with Ichikawa facing himself and internally processing not only his flaws, but also realizing how brave Yamada had to be on Valentines, cause he now knows she like him, and pushing him to do the same, peak. Then we get to the start of their spring break and last day of second year. We see Ichikawa, before leaving the classroom for the last time, looking wistfully at his current desk, which is bathed in light, then turning to look at his old spot from the beginning of the series, shrouded in darkness. It's just so obvious what it means and what Ichikawa is thinking, peak use of the environment to convey these feelings to the viewers. Yamada wanting to call Ichikawa "Kyo" is so cute and the introduction of Schizo Mind Ichikawa 2: The Horny is great. Not much to say about the staying over for his birthday, just obvious peak. Then the late night convo helping Yamada understand what a rebellious phase is like, helping her next episode, is heart melting, man. Finally Episode 9, I love seeing Ichikawa being friends with the others, just hanging out, and being able to talk to them so much better, he's grown up so much I can't believe how proud I feel about a fictional character. We see Yamada's late night convo pay off, the acting scene hits for me, idk exactly why, but seeing the pay off and her get complimented by this big star makes me so proud of her too. Yamada's is the best mom ever, she's so supportive of her daughter and knows how to communicate so well with her, love it. We see Ichikawa getting more anxious, now that he knows about their mutual feelings, and worried about Yamada's wellbeing and seeing his reaction to thinking something went really wrong, even though we saw it was her mom, he didn't and despite that, they're able to convey Ichikawa's panic, anxiety, fear, and worry so well through the screen that the viewer starts to feel the same even though we know it's okay, it hurts, but man is it great. Having the parents be so understanding of Ichikawa's worried feelings, and then Ichikawa and Yamada separately telling separate parents that they like each other and them both being so accepting too, Yamada's parents are too amazing, man. Then we get Ichikawa, after the Pig Man false alarm, coming to a conclusion on how to curb these feelings of worry and anxiety by directly asking Yamada to be more careful, and to keep a distance in public, and Yamada, hesitant at first, sees how worried he truly is, looking at his panicked mismatched shoes, and accepts Ichikawa's proposal, not wanting to have him feel that bad ever again. God they are perfect for each other, and now that Ichikawa knows she likes him, and I bet Yamada's got a pretty great idea that he does too, It's only a matter of time until Ichikawa feels ready to tell her. Although it's clear that not only are they fine with their slow pace, as stated by both at the end of episode 7, but Ichikawa seems like he wants to find a good moment to do it hoping he manages enough courage to do so along the way. I decided not to hold back this time, as a ohmage to Ichikawa accepting himself more, but man did I write a lot, probably more than last time with the big episode, and there is even more I'd be able to talk about but didn't like Hara and Kanzaki's relationship, Adachi x Moeko + Adachi's behind the scene character development, and so much more, but they didn't fit in too well and I'd never stop, lol. So thanks for reading all this, and even though you've stated I shouldn't be sorry, I still feel the need to apologies given the size. Thanks, you're amazing.
