Caught Red Handed - Process (Patreon)

Hope you guys like this one! For the process of this piece, it initially started with an idea of what I wanted to draw: something moody, atmospheric, intimidating, mysterious. Then I went on pinterest to find references that can help with the concept, which can be found below! They include the lighting for the character, for the background, the pose and the outfit. The video above is the process of combining all of these elements with the image in my mind to create this piece! Was it exactly as I imagined it? Nope, but I'm quite happy with the results regardless :) The process vid cut off a bit of final edits with the blood effects, I'll try to capture that next time.
