Ok, fair warning for any new players, maybe wait a few days on this one, check the comments for bug reports to see if it looks clear. Early versions are very rough, and intended for players who enjoy poking through the mess and finding those bugs to report back. If you do play it and encounter any bugs, please report them either in this thread, or via PM. Ideally include the bug report if there is a crash, that's very helpful in tracking it down. If it's just something weird that doesn't have a bug report, then just explain it as best you can. It helps to keep saves early and often and near any bugs you encounter, and when explaining a problem, posting exact dialogue before and after a bug can help me to find it, because the root cause can be all over the game. Fixes this build:- Fixed a crash when girls tried to give you their keys. - Fixed a bunch of little bugs here and there. - Added a new short haircut for EmmaThat warning out of the way, what will Version 1.62 include? - Doggy style pose for Wanda. Let me know if there are any parts of the game where it should be available, yet isn't. - 69 pose for Emma. This should be accessed the same way as with other girls, do a little oral in both directions and it should activate. I may make it easier to access this with other girls once you've done it with at least one first. Just a reminder, this feature is currently on Rogue, Kitty, Emma, Betsy, and Doreen, it will be added to new girls over the course of the year with each update, as chosen by polling. - Some background menu tweaks. This was a significant change to how some of the underlying systems work, that hopefully you shouldn't really notice. If it works as intended, it should play about the same for now, but will help me as I add new stuff to the game and simplify how things work behind the scenes, but it could potentially cause problems if I missed anything in the implementation. It may cause some issues with saves from previous versions that were in the middle of a sex scene, and potentially cause other issues like exiting one part of a sex scene and having it drop you outside the conversation or otherwise "further away" from the interaction you were in at the time. Let me know if anything like that seems out of place for you, and I'll try to track down how you got there and where he problem was. -Emma got a new short haircut. - All sorts of other little tweaks, for example now Kitty should be able to yoink clothing from characters that are in the background of a scene. You can download the game files here.

I've been running into a rather annoying bug or error. Basically Doreen constantly asking the player to be head Squirrel even after you've already turned her down.

Mia Cosby

I’m still having the issue of not unlocking the first new character tried restarting and changing the setting but nothing still. Is there an easy way in the code that I can change to activate the first character that might kickstart getting the new ones?

Spadiel

When I go to the pool on the first day I get a message that just says 'HOLD' when I first select the area.

gara seth

I've been getting the error out of memory

Spadiel

Got a weird shadow when I have Emma with her short hair on and I asked her to take off her corset in the wardrobe. It added a weird bruise/shadow over her eye that was partially covered. If it matters for her blushing, her stats were L-456 O-127 I-411 and she was wearing the nighty as her overshirt.

Spadiel

I guess another weird shadow error is that when I get Emma to need to go behind the screen in the wardrobe that the shadow on the screen looks to be Kitty and not her.

Oni

Ok, that can happen when I don't properly put the "brakes" on in one of those scenarios. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll figure out where to stop it.

Spadiel

When getting a footjob from Emma, I told her to face me to start with and then asked her to turn around. The image of her first pose remained in the background and so did the image of my penis. When I ended the action, the facing me pose was still playing with my penis out.

Spadiel

Further into the same session I chose to have a grind, then sex and then anal with Emma, and when I chose to turn her around during anal I chose to face her away from me and on the following screen her head was missing. If I choose to turn her head to face me the head pops back into existence. Also, this is with her short hair.

LeGourmet

I dont seem to see the values go up or down in this version. The red, yellow, blue numbers next to the girl when you do an action.

Oni

I'm baffled by this, since it doesn't seem to be happening for anyone else. So the first girl should always be Kitty, and you should bump into her while traveling to class after a few days in. Are you sure you're going to class?

Oni

Oh, sorry. Ignore that, it shouldn't hurt anything. I was testing something.

Oni

Any information you can give me about that could be helpful. It's generally hard for me to diagnose those, since they don't happen all the time to everyone, but some people certainly get it. I've heard that certain hardware could be more susceptible than others. It would help to know how long the client had been running before the crash, the location and which girls and poses were on screen at the time (or would have been on screen if it crashed right before something), etc. It also might help to go into the .exe properties and disable hardware acceleration. I've also heard another rumor that resizing the window a little every now and then can help to keep the problem from occurring. I'm sorry I can't yet nail down any specific cause, the only way I can get it to happen on my end is when it tries to display more than like 7-8 girls at once.

Oni

I'll look into the Emma thing. I assume it has to do with her having a complex shadow thing related to her hat and to her different hair styles, and the new short hair kind of ignores a lot of that, so maybe has some issues. Easy to sort out though. I think I also fixed the dress screen issue.

Spadiel

I also got a hold message when walking away from a trapped Gwen after asking her name.

Oni

Well, in this current build it should basically happen every time the pool screen loads (not always that same message, but *some* pointless message). It doesn't mess with anything though, you should be able to just skip past it without hurting anything. If it happens nowhere near the pool (neither coming nor going), let me know where.

Oni

Hmm. I just tested it real quick and it worked for at least the first interactions. It's possible that something is glitching it out as you continue to play though. Next time you boot up the game, see if they appear, and if they stop appearing, take note of how long you'd been playing and what was happening at the time.

Luke Tollen

Oni, is there any way you can share information on how the girls do it without you? I've only had one occasion where I was texted to come over to join two girls? Is there a certain hook? And is there a way the girls will hook up with each other even if you haven't really interacted with them? Thank you for your work regardless.

Spadiel

Just an FYI I noticed that Laura had Rogue's shadow on the dress screen.

deadman25s

Found a bug i think when heading to the pool in game, it'll pop up as BG classroom or nearby and I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but when you walk into the showers and catch any of the girls by surprise while changing they're half covered by the doorway

I just want to say thank you for considering (and changing) the base face for Rogue. I truly do appreciate it.

sleepingkirby

I can confirm this. I started a new game. Been playing for about 10~20 minutes. I thought gifts weren't doing anything but the bar values goes up. During sex and a few other events, I'll see the numbers. But during flirting and gift giving is where it doesn't seem to show up.

Klutz Lament

It seems to be displaying the text "BG DANGERROOM" right before it shows the standard pool menu.

Klutz Lament

This time it said "BG CAMPUS".

Burtor

It show a whole laundry list of different names there with "BG XYZ".

Burtor

There is a hidden relationship value for all girl with each other. I guess only when that value is high enough the start to shag without the player. I don´t know if it goes up by itself but letting them play with each other in threesomes definitely helps but takes quite a while. You can also ask every girl what they think of the others.

Burtor

I found one reoccuring bug where you are in a scene with girl A, girl B pops in with a sexual favor and girl A ends up doing it. For example I was with Gwen in the yard and Jubes jumped in with her "tooth on neck bj attack" scene but Gwen did end up giving the BJ in public despite a low Inhib value. Happened with different constellations of girls and room. Another is when girl interrupt sexy time with the new social interactions, it afterwards counts as if it is a public setting even when you are alone with your partner in their own room.

Oni

I made some changes here, in the build you've got there it might keep happening, but it's not specific, it's a little random, basically it seems to be not updating from whoever was last the "main character" around. In next build, it should stick with whoever is currently the focus.

Oni

Ok, this is a good place to check. I tried Giving some gifts to Rogue, and they were still popping up numbers. If you can repeatedly get this to happen, the numbers not showing up (especially if the bars move), then please let me know the character, the gift, and ideally what line they responded with, so I can nail it down to a single stat call. That or the girl/flirt action/response. I'm more suspecting it's perhaps got something to do with their location data getting fumbled so that the text is appearing, it's just appearing off screen or in a location you don't notice.

Oni

Yeah, I am considering making it a bit more likely that girls will just hook up without *any* interaction from you, but it is broadly a combination of 1. They like each other a lot, which tends to raise the more they interact, especially when they see each other naked, and extra especially when they are in threesomes together, 2. the more "hard up" they get, the better, which typically means you interacting with them at least a little to get them very sexual, but then not doing much with them for a while, so that they want more. 3. They also need to be fairly uninhibited, for most characters, at least. This makes it a fairly "late game" situation in most cases.

Oni

Yeah, this is not a problem. It's just a diagnostic I left in accidentally. It isn't causing any harm, but will pop up any time you enter the pool area. I'll look at the door thing.

Oni

Um. I'm not sure what's causing that. The error message implies that it's a root Renpy problem. When did it occur? Was this on an emulator? Maybe it has to do with the memory issues.

Luke Tollen

Awesome to hear. Thank you for the info and can't wait to see it hopefully change one day.

Oni

Ok, fixed for next build, thanks.

Oni

Same root issue as the other one, also fixed.

Oni

Yup, simple mistake in this one, it'll happen any time you enter the pool, but doesn't hurt anything. Next build will fix it.

Oni

Ok, any time this happens, let me know the specifics like this. The core issue should be that "a girl shows up," but that the name bar at the top of the screen does not change to reflect that she's driving the conversation now. Most cases should correct this, but I apparently missed a few. I'll try to find more on my end, but if you see it, let me know which new girl it is (the other one probably isn't relevant) and what sort of scene it was.

Burtor

Sorry for the late answer. It happened after being afk for a time and then trying to quickload. Normally I experience a lag after the second action/dialog when not being acitve in renpy for a few minutes but this time it crashed when the first action after afk was quickload. Happened 2 times, I´m savescumming a little bit to force certain dialog/interactions like undressed shower entrances or Xavier carching you during public sexy time vs audiance dialog.

Oni

Ok. Hmm, maybe parts of the game are loading themselves out of memory when the game isn't being used or something. It really doesn't seem to be anything related to "Rogue-Like" code. do you have a lot of RAM on your computer? Do you come even close to maxing it out?

Mia Cosby

Yea been going to the classes, changed the setting between pause when new characters show up and continuing. Idk what’s wrong with mine. Tried reinstalling and still no bueno. Maybe my stuff is bunk😂

Burtor

Once again, sorry for the late answer. I bought a new PC and have 64gb now. This only happened with the build 1.62e. The previous builds never had this happening. But I can´t say anything about maxing it out because i can´t remember if I had something else running aside the game. Just running my GChrome and Firefox right now uses roughly 30%.
