Hullo, you lovely, lovely souls, you! New Goodie Pack!

This month I went for quantity over quality. Exactly 13 sketches in this one, I hope you enjoy them. Here's the link:

Akanoes has been feeling pretty shitty lately, but progress has still been made by both of us. Will post a progress report as soon as there's something more to report than "I painted and wrote stuff" In the meantime, enjoy the Goodie Pack responsibly. Watch for wrist injuries.

Talk soon people!

Newman.

Say I wonder can please do a Ben 10 Xmas pics including Max Tennyson as a half naked Santa Claus wearing red underwear and boots when you have a chance soon

I talk from experience. Never let a powerful wank ruin your drawing hand, my friend.

Newman

I missed you, Den! Glad to hear from you and your strange but endearing Max Tennyson obsession. As always, happy to oblige. Look for it on December's GP XD

Do you have any advice for people who want to make similar games?

Newman

Many. What were you interested in, specifically?

Fine Black

a similar renpy visual novel like this, but with guys. I barely know where to begin; this would be my first game if i go through with it.

Newman

Well, the most important thing is the gameplay, how do your players feel they are advancing. In visual novels, it often works really close with the script, but it doesn't have to be the case (your progress with different characters for example can just depend on a minigame) Your system, that's the first thing you need to figure out.

Newman

Of course, visual novels are all about the characters. Write a simple description for each one. What I do is: Name (which I fill in in the end), Appearance, Psychology, Past life, Future aspirations. Then maybe a dialog phrase that could be a typical one from that character.

There are many more things to consider, but I would have to give you a 6 months' course to go over everything XD
