Aaah yes!! I've been thinking back on Curse/Kiss/Cute a lot since my read in June, eager to read more. I'm happy to do so now!! :D As always there are a lot of phrasings in this chapter that I like a lot. And setup/payoffs or reoccurring things, like the never-been-born thread here. Also "There is a sound like a washing machine full of unlubricated balloon animals" is a fantastic noise metaphor, I can really hear it aaah :') Also all slime people seem unhinged haha. Anyway. Can't wait to have more of Nat figuring out their gender presentation and/or gender... oooor sinking further and further into denial when battling against the obvious fact that skirts and bra straps are cute and cool. Also can't wait to have more of Lexie (and what her deal with Nat is). She was on several of your older illustrations and I'm really curious to know more about her. Thank you for this eagerness, it's delightful!
