Concept Art: Sanva & Xiaolei (+ Font!) (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Chapter 2 is still in the planning stages -- I'll be starting on the cover page soon, though. In the mean time, I've been putting together some concept art. Here's a sneak peek at two new characters we'll meet next chapter:

Sanva, a deeply religious knight of Tahmonai.

Xiaolei, a hot-headed moth boy and self-proclaimed hero...?

I've also been working on a font based on my handwriting! I've actually been hand-lettering the comic until now. But it takes a really long time -- every page usually requires around 30 minutes to an hour of hand-lettering, depending on how much dialogue it has. So instead, I thought i'd make a font to save myself a little bit of effort. Check out how it looks:

If you're interested, I've attached it to this post. Feel free to use it! Just credit me if it ends up in any comics. It only covers the ASCII character set -- basically whatever you can type on an English North American keyboard, so no accents or anything.

That's all for now! See you soon with the Chapter 2 cover page!
