Hello my patreons looking to see what your interested in for a tutorial-

and actually I am going to choose a pic on the community chat here on Patreon- drop a pic and maybe yours will get chosen as a future tutorial!

Guess what some exclusive tutorials in Sept will be in Greece- !!! I will be shooting on location showing you urban sketching- at my hotel in Santorini- :) for the Sept 26th exclusive and I might be putting in a few daily fun sketches so watch out for them! Most tutorials are pre recorded for sept - but for patreons I have some special stuff up my sleeve!

I have been trying (not very successfully) to paint leaves for a couple of years. Different types of leaves and greenery can look very beautiful on cards and paintings. If you did a tutorial on leaves it would be good to include how to do them using more than one green shade in the leaf too.

I voted for flowers. I love your method of messing them up to get the loose, atmospheric look. Any flower will do, but I especially love your tutorials where you combine different types. My second choice would be a cityscape with buildings and people. I struggle with perspective so would love more help with that.

Ellen, I'm having difficulty creating the lovely greens you use in your tutorials. Mine frequently look muddy and are simply not vibrant. I would appreciate a tutorial dedicated to how to mix colors, particularly greens, successfully.

California offers a wide variety of landscapes from Pebble Beach to the Sierra Nevada Mtns, Burney Falls, grape vines & wineries, desert scenes including Joshua Trees and miles and miles of beaches & coastline. Don't forget Lake Tahoe, the Redwood Trees and Yosemite National Park!
