Price Changes for My Patreon (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I just want to start by saying I am deeply and profoundly grateful for all of you and I hope you are enjoying all my content here on my Patreon- going forward I have some important updates regarding our Patreon tiers.

NEW PRICING :

If you have noticed I started add much more content on this platform than previous years and going forward . I am going to continue to add and in order to do this I need to increase my pricing. Starting 1 month from now , the $6 tier will be $8, and the $12 tier will be $15. I am going to unpublish the $3 tier meaning those on this tier can stay there and support my patreon but I am not adding more to this tier going forward.

I am also adding an Ultimate Patreon tier for those who wish to give extra support knowing this is my full- time job- thanks!!

New members will be charged the new price.

Why the Change?

I haven't increased my prices since I started Patreon in 2020, and this change will help me to deliver and improve on the quality of content you enjoy.

New Features on the tiers: 

Student tier:

 I am adding "paint my photo" whereas I will give you a chance to post a photo and out of the first 5 pictures posted the patreons will vote which one they like the most and I will do a tutorial on this.

Also %15 off upcoming Zoom classes- yup I am adding Zoom classes to my website.

Super patreon tier: 

I am adding a few Acrylic tutorials monthly on this tier so those who want to try both mediums can.

"ask me a question" I am excited to add this feature to this tier where you ask me any burning painting questions and I will answer as many as these as I can.

Also on the monthly live classes we will add drawing to some of these to help your paintings improve!!

What does this mean for you and your tier.

I am so grateful for all your continued support and want to make this transition as smooth as possible. If you are currently on the $6 tier, you'll automatically move to the $8 tier, and if you are on the $12 tier, you will move to the $15 tier, continuing to enjoy all the existing and new benefits.

This price change will take effect in 31 days for existing members and immediate for new members going forward I am looking to do yearly memberships for those who wish to choose this.

Your support means everything to me and it allows me to keep creating and teaching watercolor with you. I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of our wonderful community! I literally have watched so many of you created wonderful paintings and friendships through my Patreon and it warms my heart to watch this community grow!

Ok, The tiers are very easily discernible on my account page. You are worth so much more than it lists!! Very excited about all the new options you will be offering. Except acrylics…I don’t want to buy more supplies and learn it. I’d rather just keep learning watercolors so I chose the top tier which I think will allow that best. Happy 2025!

I am a bit intrigued about acrylics and am thinking of jumping to higher tier but am wondering if you had or are planning on an introduction tutorial to acrylics?

I just joined tonight after watching the Christmas window episode. I am an 88 in Jan year old widow very interested in learning water coloring and have been collecting some supplies a little at a time. As yet I have not practiced or actually tried my hand at actually starting a project. I have watched tutorials like yours tonight. Do you think I have a chance of doing well. I would like to make my own greeting cards that I can be proud of? I am keeping this new endeavor secret from my Family. For now.

Hi, from a fellow senior citizen. You absolutely can. One of the things that I have learned as a newbie and self taught through tutorials is paint, paint, paint. Have fun.

Hi Constance. Just in case you are still not sure how to unsubscribe, it’s very simple. On Ellen’s main page, look along the top of the screen for the word “Membership”. Click on it, then click on the small pencil symbol that means “edit your Membership”. You will then see a list of what you wish to do. Cancelling your membership is one of them. Wishing you all the best, and perhaps see you back at some point. I just joined again after about a years absence due to needing to concentrate on my health. Still an utter beginner because I am only now able to prioritise my new hobby. Happy Hogmanay from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I'm confused. I am now on the $6 tier which will go to $8 - I get that. But what do I need to do to get the acrylic lessons added to the watercolor ones I already have? Is that the $12 ultimate level? And if yes, how can I upgrade?
