Dear Patrons,
I want to wish you all a wonderful holiday if you celebrate- and a Happy New Year! ๐
This year like every year I hope that your painting journey was filled with more growth & joy. You have taken on the endeavor to learn watercolor and all its magic. However I never want you to loose sight of the fact this isnโt something anyone can master even those of us who have been painting for a long time. Itโs always a chance to learn something new and see a different perspective on what you have created.
If I even get one amazing painting within the year I am happy but I am always seeking new ways to improve or grow. Art isnโt something you master even with a degree . If you notice the masters kept finding new ways to see the world around them. Without their journey Impressionism wouldnโt exist!
If youโre a beginner or a skilled painter their is always something to learn. I am forever grateful that you chose to take some of this education with me. I cannot express how much this community has given me a reason to keep creating!
I remember being so hesitant to even start a Patreon, thinking that could I even take this on or that anyone would even enjoy it! I am so glad I did. A few of you have even come along on some of my workshops & retreats which I am still baffled at. I am always in awe that you choose to spend time with me near & far!!
I am very excited for what 2025 will bring - I am doing my best to make it even more exciting on Patreon. I see such amazing growth on the posts in the Facebook group & chat here, and I have no doubt your growth will be even more amazing!
Personally I am happy to finally have my oldest home from his service as a Marine. My family is all back under one roof for a short while. I am grateful that everyone is happy & healthy. I have an exciting bucket list trip I will talk about as I get closer- that I will share.
Thank you for being a Patreon!
Best,
Ellen
