Love this little painting. Question: I’ve noticed that you have been using the aqua elite series mostly lately (few months now I think) and you used to use the velvet touch series mostly. Just curious why the change? I bought all the velvet touch ones you were using and a few of the aqua elite. I feel the aqua elite are a little stiffer and better for more precise details as I have difficulty doing thin branches or lines. Maybe I’m too heavy handed. I really enjoy your landscapes.

Thanks Ellen, It turned out great!!

ahh I like aqua elite better than velvet touch- just preference you can still use whatever works for you. Actually the velvet touch is much stiffer in my opinion aqua elite is kind of in-between neptune and velvet touch.

What watercolor journal are you using?

Please keep these up to help me fill my sketch book! I hope to go to a live retreat of yours one day!!

I did this one and need to go back and deepen the shadow like you did.
