Why didn’t you mask out the flowers?

looks lovely and fresh 😍 thank you for this - gives me something to try my hand at over the long weekend, and continue on my quest of avoiding an overworked, flat, and muddy landscape 🤭 I keep meaning to ask: what would you recommend as an alternative to peacock blus?

Laura Roberts

This was so fun and therapeutic! I appreciate now only the instruction on how to paint this but how it can heal our sadness. I have a difficult time painting trees (branches). They always end up looking like they were done by a 5 yr old. Thank you!

I agree with Laura that this was therapeutic and calming. I wish there was a way I could see other people's finished products.

I just did 3 versions of this tutorial. I struggled with the trees, they wanted to bleed all over! I don't think I had enough pigment on my brush and too much water. Even though my paintings are not close to Ellen's awesomeness, they are good for my abilities! I absolutely love these tutorials!
