YES MORE GOUACHE tutorials please--got a bunch of it now---checking this-then doing the sky on the lighthouse-did my two dog cards one of them came out good the other-well --need work on setching but i love those flower tutorials i also did alot of donna dewberry one step --have her stuff here she is pretty cool!! Jenkins was the best one--their ideas are fantastic like yours---different tyoes of painting love our watercolor they are OIL painting i have al that---but getting more watercolor now and learning sketching gonna up my tier tomorrow!!!

Betsy

Very good painting-i think on my oainting i did in oil i should go back in and make more petals-so afraid of ruining it i want to start another one for practice---because i used the gold leaf it is supposed to be varnished before i paint over it so i just wait and do more practice this is very helpful-u are quite sly to say cheaper guoaches cause thats what id did-i already have some expensive ones like the lukas rose color--so i got a bunch of cheaper ones for practice--i see you used that cheaper paper on the light house-im scared to paint on the block that ill wet it through so i remove the paper---very good lessons --and its improving me alot!!! have a nice week-bee around on wednesday !!! gonna learn sketching more so my paintings look more in perspective!! VERY NICE ROSES !!! way to go!!!

This is one of the most stunning pieces you ever created in my opinion. Absolutely stunning! I am going to watch this a couple times again than pull my gouache out. Thank you very much for sharing your talent Ellen.

Right! No more excuses! I’m off to buy some gouache this weekend 🥰🥰

Debby Martinich

Your classes are the best art money I spend. Thank you for this! You make it seem achievable even for me!

Tee Dee

Love 💕 Love! Hope to see a gouache day…more gouache please.

Toby Kyrk

I'm really enjoying playing with the gouache. You have a list of starter colors for your watercolor videos. Any plans on making a list for upcoming gouache videos? Hint, hint, we'd like more gouache videos please.

Renee Wilkey

Love the tutorial. Gonna try some gouache. Thank you. Only thing I would love is your finished image as reference to refer to when I practice?

Klaudia Dollbaum

Question: does gouache behave differently on smooth vs. textured paper? Can it be used on paper other than watercolor paper?

Ellen Crimi-Trent

hum a little different but not much yes I use it on Bristol vellum paper

I loved this. I Actually do just about all of the tutorials on postcard size watercolor paper so this was fantastic. I am happy to learn more. I love that you have no pressure to be exactly like what you do it makes me feel like I can learn, play and experiment.

Klaudia Dollbaum

Loved this tutorial, mine came out more like Peonies. Keep the Gouache videos coming!!

I got some gouache for Christmas and haven't done much with it because it was a bit of a pain to pull all the tubes out of the box every time I wanted to paint. So I got a palette and set it up just last weekend. So glad I found this tutorial because I need some ideas of how to use the gouache now. Thanks!
