I did not catch the name of the brush you are using.

SuperBonnie1969

Ohh that looks fun. Can't wait till we are done moving so I can get my paint supplies out again.

Mary Jacobson

Julie, I think Ellen was saying she was using a cat's tongue brush. What a nice brush for florals.

Molly Walchuk

Thanks Ellen! Winterberry? In the South they are called “possumhaw”(strange name!). I like the challenge idea. Maybe pen&ink with watercolor wash cityscapes; homey still lifes(cups, dishes, bookcase…). I also really enjoyed the “Paint Like Matisse” tutorial— that was a fun exercise.

Debra Broido

I did mine. Looks nothing like yours. I struggle having a variety of leaves.

Mo Roberts

Whelp, it's all a challenge for me😂. Love the focus a challenge creates so bring them on, please--gardens and all their inhabitants, birds, insects, seasonal. Thanks. Loved this one!!

Terri Rocheleau

Love this. Can I use watered down gouache in place of watercolor?

Terri Rocheleau

It never fails the very last flower or leaf I add always messes up it’s so frustrating

Karen

@Ellen. Here in Conn they’re are called bittersweet.
