Fantastic! What do you think about thistle? Can we paint it together in near future?

Grace Horton

This was fun! Please continue to leave in the ways you fix problems, like the brush splaying, or too intense a color. I’m excited to try this! Thank you. And, feedback from the new camera, when your arm comes across, the painting blurs, but your arm is in focus. Not sure there’s much can be done about that.

Love this! Can’t wait to try it!

Sarah Vogus

Loved this. Can’t wait for loose Christmas paintings.

Diane Dial

Really liked this tutorial. I loved how the background moved to the back of the painting and yet supported the painting when the closer leaves were added. Loved it! Thanks, Ellen.

Ellen, I was feeling a little cheeky and I decided to paint your yard. What can I say? I was inspired. I live in Tucson, AZ and it is currently 79 degrees.

Elizabeth Iverson

Ellen, May I have your permission to post my painting of your yard (pictured above in the thumbnail)?
