This was so fun to paint!! thx Ellen!

Cathleen Burton

I can’t believe this traceable, c’mon really?

Grace Horton

Hope this isn’t a dumb question, but which is the correct side of hot pressed? Mine is in a block, so I never looked. I appreciate this tutorial, really cute, and I look forward to painting it, after I’m back in Florida from western New York! Snowing and freezing.

Anna Woods

Thanks Ellen, so simple but beautiful, do u know how I can duplicate the painting & make xmas cards from original??

Elizabeth Crane

in a block, the "correct" side is facing the painter. It's not that you can't paint on the other side, but the less smooth side is the "intended" surface for painting.

Grace Horton

Well, that part I figured out. Then I thought, duh, Grace, look at the other side and see the difference. Sorry for the stupid question

Nancy Bernhardt

A million Thankyou for teaching me that magenta and cadmium yellow make a beautiful red!! 😊

Grace Horton

I knew that the correct painting side was the one on top of the block. I foolishly asked this question without just turning the paper over to see the difference. It was a “duh” question, lol

Barbara Chapman

Thank you for a simpler painting!! Love it!
