YES! Thank you Ellen!

I love how you make things look so possible for the struggling beginner/intermediate painter! Thank you!

Christine Thornton

Love this and not just because you said to. Haha. Fantastic as always!

Francine Anton

Thanks for the demonstration. Was very useful.

I just joined and am going to try this over this weekend, I have been a little timid to make the investment of 100% cotton paper, but did order some today. Will I still be able to get the jist of this with 140 lb, 300 gsm cold pressed paper? I struggle with wet on wet, so I'm not sure.

So, after watching this, I made a color mixing chart with my Holbein paints in preparation for the Charleston workshop. Charted with mixing ratios, adding Burnt umber and Paynes Grey. Wow, what a range of beautiful greens, purples and oranges! It was back to basics for me today. Thank you for this lovely tutorial that I will eventually paint.

Love Tuscany! Lived in Sicily for three years. What an experience! Topless bathing at the beaches with little children, oh the conversations! Lol

Thanks for this Ellen - I'm going to Tuscany in May (2024) and am practicing with this video! Any particular palette or colors you'd recommend for painting in Italy?
