I have a problem when I can’t see your sketch (too light) or the photo you’re using. I know you want us to find our own references, but when we’re trying to paint along with you, that doesn’t help.

JudySavannah

Alternatively, when you’re done, post your finished watercolor as a static image for us to see (since I don’t know how to grab the finished work from the YouTube—is there a way?).

Sandy Moffet

To get an image, pause the video, touch the screen to get rid of the play button and take a screen shot. To take a screen shot on an iPad, press the home button and on button at the same time. You can edit the image in photos.

JudySavannah

I use my iPhone; does that still work?

Ellen Crimi-Trent

This wasn’t a tutorial on painting exactly what I painted. It was a tutorial on how I go about painting flowers are using a reference.

Ellen Crimi-Trent

Sorry I don’t give static pics on YouTube - I have to be careful on ppl taking images to steal for products which happens a ton!

I love it! I am so happy to be back on your Patreon!! I moved across the country and now I am settled again!! Thank you!

I am watching on an ipad and can see it good, could it be your device?

What is the name of the sketch book you use in the last flower tutorial?

Debbie Fulton

Ellen, I LOVE “Floral Friday”!!! Between your tutorials for drawing flowers to working with ink and wash, I’m a HAPPY lady!! I only have one question… What size sketchbook are you using for this current project? I’ve actually purchased the different sizes of the Speedball sketchbooks and I’ve found myself working 3 different sizes for each tutorial… Just curious….

Debbie Fulton

Thanks! My watercolor sketchbooks range in size from 3.5”x5” to the Grand Portrait at 10.5”x8.25”… everything but a square; which I remedied today!! Thank you for responding so quickly ! ❤️

Patty

Will we still be able to get your work on patron

Joanne Cogswell

I love the sketchbook idea! Your tutorial on drawing flowers was very helpful; the sketchbook makes it easier to play and practice practice practice. A friend told me I could indeed “do” art if I just learned a few techniques. Your channel is just that, much appreciated! Thanks for the encouragement.
