Love this Ellen, the background and bird are both fun. Would you please show you masking a subject sometime? I know it’s probably rudimentary but masking intimidates little old me! 😆

Carole Gjertson

Totally fun painting! I can’t wait to do it!

I give up on finding supplies and traceable! I followed the directions to search in the search bar—no results. I used to get supply list from YouTube by clicking on tiny red arrow at bottom right corner of post. Arrow is no longer there. The only time I get a traceable and reference photo is when they are included in the post as pdf. I am a top tier subscriber. It is very frustrating.

Sarah Vogus

Okay—2nd posting with Heron traceable just disappeared

Ellen has had quite a few tutorials with masking fluid. Maybe you could do a you tube search? She recommends using an old brush or one of the masking fluid pens. Then after painting everything else is a rubber cement pick up to remove the dried masking fluid. Sometimes you need to use a little elbow grease to get it all picked up! Practice & have fun!

Terri Rocheleau

We just moved by the coast. Can’t wait to get my new art room set up so I can paint this.

Liz Sullivan

Is there a traceable for this? I can’t wait to paint this one.

Donna Ulrich

Was there no photo reference?

Kathy Proietti

There is a reference photo on her YouTube channel. No traceable, but you should be able to trace from the reference.

Ellen Crimi-Trent

no traceable ref photo is in description box - click on video click on words YouTube it pulls up then hit words " show more" and you will see the ref photo in description box.
