Hi Ellen! Thank you for all the extras today! This sounds silly but the leaf tutorial really helped. I would start my compound stroke and always see so much puddling in the center of the leaf. I was basically squishing all my paint out of the brush mid stroke and sometimes that looks ok but i really wanted a more uniform color brush stroke until i tap in more color after. Thank you thank you. I guess i was being too rough on the brush. lol

I am not finding the pdf file of the traceable image? Is it me?

Nancy Kelly

Hi Ellen, I love the colors that you used beautiful and a great reminder of techniques. Cheers from Minnesota, Nancy and Tessa.

Carole Knubel

Ellen how can I make my traceable smaller? Like 5x7.

Grace Horton

I always learn from your tutorials. Thank you

Grace Horton

I’ve had that trouble with the new and “improved” Patreon. I had to pull down the comment bar to see the pdf part

Megan Miller

The traceable I get with the pdf is similar but not same as what you paint

Denise

Hi Carole. I was able to make the traceable smaller by printing at 75%. You can adjust what % you like. I hope this helps.

Leigha Buchtel

So pretty! Love the colors and the simple added details and shadows. The chrysanthemum is my favorite. Will paint it this weekend. ❤️Thank you!!

Cheryl

Loved watching this tutorial. So many great tips. Thanks for the extended version. I love being a patreon member.

Ellen Crimi-Trent

Yes because I wasn’t following one the goal here is to create your own painting the video gives u the tools how.

Betty Ryan

Great video. I always learn something from watching you. Thank you! PS You camera goes in and out of focus…I think it is focusing on your hand when you are painting; it goes back to focus on the flowers when you are not painting. Thought you may want to know.

Megan Miller

Thank you for the explanation. I’m new here! Loving the videos and I appreciate how you teach.

Debbie Golding

You hit it on the head when you said you just have to keep practicing. I really liked learning how to do the daisies. Now, back to drawing leaves...
