I loved this and will be painting various renditions to complete my Xmas cards collection, along with your snowflake tutorial. But I have to say that it takes practice and perseverance to achieve anything even close to your results . I guess that years of experience and work along with an awesome talent has something to do with that. Anyway, thanks as always for sharing. You are a generous and inspiring teacher.

Linda Waters

Thanks so much. I love the extra gold at the end and of course your cute humorous commentary as you work. All your tutorials are so encouraging. Can’t wait to try this one…😁

This was interesting. Really not my style, but learning new techniques is fun! It’s all about fun sometimes!

I love this technique. It's speaks to my free style attitude. I have been trying to loosen up because a fine arts artist I will never be. I learn so much from you. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You had made my Christmas cards more merry and very pretty. Merry Christmas Ellen from the far north of Idaho.

I really loved this; however, I need to practice more. I didn’t get the smooshing as well as I wanted. I painted a 16x20 Arches cold press, then cut it into 12 cards. I was amazed how well the cards looked. I will do this again.

Sue Kroskey

Would love more of this technique next year.

Wow. I tried this technique and posted it on Instagram and it feels like everyone I know commented and loved it. It’s the first painting I’ve ever posted. The technique produces gorgeous results.
