Sorry for the reupload, I had to fix a few typos!

Frauke Richter

Intriguing story! This is my reading: you have to go through an unhappy queer childhood to become a happy queer adult. Sending his younger self back and forcing him to go through that was the actual sacrifice that allowed him to go to a time when his partner was still alive.

Amanda Arlene

This is beautiful 🥹 Thank you for sharing it! My interpretation is that because of his sacrifice he was able to return to his own time. Only now, after talking to the kid and helping him gain some perspective, the adult can be secure in the knowledge that he can get through this difficult time after the loss of his spouse (much like he got through growing up queer). And that his journey of healing may open the door for someone else going through the same pain later on down the line.

Raúl Brito

Great story Adam. Greetings from Venezuela.

Poneshyay

Could you please check your asks on tumblr?

Yeesus

I didn't even notice typos😭

Amey Kasbe

I thought he went back to 2011 because he helped that kid. What does this ending mean?

Lisa Johnstone-Puplett

So did the train let him off because he did a nice thing? Is he the kid from the future? So many questions!

nonyabizmkay

The MIB 2 poster was a nice touch, which released July 3rd 2002.

Mar

I love that the “2011” in the first one was a typo, I was trying so hard to figure it out omg

Breoni Hester

But is his partner still alive? It was 2018 when he got on and off the train, it doesn’t seem like he went back

Molly Heil

That definitely changes things. I still like to think it was maybe his partner as a kid. Enjoyed it all the same.

Kalhara Caldera

But the date changed again. The fixed typo (at least one of them) was the year on the last page. It's 2018 again

Jacqui Dielwart

I took the same thing. Though maybe not that you have to, but that to reach the place where they met their partner and had that love they had to follow that path.

Mimi Sheffer

I cried, just a little bit. 💖

Mortimer Langford

I thought I knew the ending, but you even put a twist on it that I didn't expect. It was beautiful. Thank you.

Vlatka Basioli

Are they the same person? They look alike.

Suzy

What are the constellations in the panels near the end?

Wes Shepherd

Absolutely brilliant. I live in Chicago, not New York, but the train times felt deep for me.

Mortimer Langford

He was returned to exactly the same date he left. To continue living his life. 🖤

Michael Drell

One out favorites you’ve ever done

Kara K

I love this one!!! Thanks for sharing something that feels so vulnerable.

Shane

😭🥹

Mrs.Sickler

This was a beautiful, sad story and I thoroughly enjoyed it ❤️

S C A

wait!!! What happened at the end!?!?!?!

Wyatt Moon

This may be my favorite comic I have ever read

Angel170

Yeah this hit me. I wanna go back and talk to my younger self let her know everything will be okay. But hey at least I can hug my daughter and be to her what I needed growing up

Devin Clay

Now this is a good ‘un. Love a tragic ending that leaves me thinking after.

Camille Cauvet

With his choice to give his half ticket to the child, the conductor considered it of a good action and let him go to the living people.

Minh Tran

So it looks like he took the midnight train going anywhere.

Alejandra

Knowing him i thought the kid was gunna be a demon lol

Stefanie N.

And ended up in hell. In his case: the reality he just came from

Oystein

This is beautiful, man. I'm not one for hyperbole but it's a solid contender for the best you've done so far.

Emily Warden

Leo Major and Minor, and Ursa Major and Minor.

Leah M

This was beautiful Adam, thank you for sharing.

Lumi

Absolutely love this one

CHector

This was so sweet, and while spooky just has a really warm feeling by the end, definitely one of your best

Onsvaltti

Then again, might just be his art style/ same face syndrome 🤔💦

Davide Vasco

OMG, imo this is the BEST you have done. I partially cried and I I was positively surprised by the genius behind it. I love your comics <3

Levi Broflovski

This is such a lovely story but my favorite little boy was seeing my boy Draco in the constellations :')

Anna Lena

He didn't stop believing!

Vi

amazing story and execution, your attention to detail (the „4lorn“ tag - forlorn - for example) is incredible, Adam! I interpreted the ending like this: this whole train ride is about a big sacrifice, so by handing the child the ticket, he may have found another way to get to his desired stop. It’s hard to tell though if the destination is indeed what he wanted (the year he left maybe when his partner was still alive? As we don’t know the month he left, we don’t know if the destination is before or after) or the opposite (the exact time he left, living hell without his partner).

Vi

Nevermind - I just read it again, his desired stop was also 2002 (the movie posters at the stop are from 2002) so the stop in the end was not what he wanted, so kind of hell but in another sense. But was his desired stop forming because of the conversation with the kid? Or was it really his own? Still some questions open, but that does make it more interesting of course

Tom

it's not hell - it's life. lost and sadness is part of it. it wouldn't be real without it. There would be no joy without sadness .

Tom

I was wondering if it was really his younger self. The different hair color made me unsure

Line.mt

I think they are the same person because of the "only one person on the train at a time".

Ina Bach Lindsman

I think this one is quite profound... To me, it seems that the boy on the train is himself, but maybe he forgot that he got on the train ones before? By giving the boy his ticket, he gave himself a second chance?

Ihazelynz

Great one here.♥️

Barbi Gala

I see it! And the main character might have realised it as well! By changing his past, he might have changed his future as well! Nice catch!

Tom

That sounds like the best interpretation so far. I was wondering if the kid was himself but the different hair color made me unsure.

a.i.d

ahhh, i was fearing a far worse ending 💛

blackbird_broderie

Yooo that scene of the train on the bridge? Gorgeous!! That shit transported me

Sa Scha

Wowww so cool

Criptastical

That's what I thought too, since they said only one person on the train. But if two people are the same person from different times, then one person is on the train.

Owen Blacker

Oh this is gorgeous. Thank you so much!

Ash

I thought the same thing! From the "they" pronouns and "not my wife" and the kid going "they call me a girl and other things" I thought it might be them meeting their partner in the past who had run away because of transphobic bullying. Either way an incredibly profound and well written comic 💓

Rachel K

I don’t think I get it

Elisabetta Bettaglio

I was definitely waiting for the "horror end" and this makes me like this story even more

Tom

That's a good idea. Still wondering why he became brighter blond over the years.

Paula Babbicola

Your hair colour can change (but also one can dye their hair)

Vlatka Basioli

Yes, but it seems like they have the same intersts too. The grown up mentioned the gardens first (so probably the place he likes to go), and the boys face lightened up, like it's someplace he would love to go. And I assume they're both gay (the boy probably still trying to figure it all out)... Idk, maybe it's far fetched, but I think there are the hints.

ProtoKun

This was fun because, as soon you see the kid's eyebrows you realize they're the same person. When the kid says people call him a girl (and his grownup counterpart states he had a husband) confirms it. I think the adult version realized that he was talking to himself so he handled the ticket, so his past could treasure his childhood. The ending was interesting because he returns to where he departed. His life was already hell, so the train wouldn't take him anywhere else.

Jest

I interpreted it as him being returned to where he got on, because he had made an adequate sacrifice even if he no longer had the right to get where he wanted to go. Or alternatively, he decided in the end that was where he wanted to be because although losing his partner hurts, he didnt want it to have never happened.

Jessica T

He was already living in Hell... 😭

theo

Love this a lot!

CharlesYYZ

It is a great short story ❤️

Brushfeather

Wow, I think this is by far my favorite story from you. Well done, Adam!

Andre Tan

That’s amazing! Love it so much.

zoe

weirdo

zoe

this is really really beautiful, reread it like 3 times. you should be proud, Adam!!! still thinking on the ending…

supersowa

And he held on to that feeling 😌

Danielle Bedard

Beautiful ending and story. I love waking up to new works from you, Adam.

Clorinspats

Well hell, that hit like a train.

Diane Bayron

Ok. When are you getting a movie deal or a series?! WHEN?!

Rumpeltyltskyn

Nah, Adam draws almost all his male leads naked, it’s a pretty normal thing to expect from him.

zoe

oh yeah, i know. it’s just, like, “here’s a beautiful comic about growing up queer and making sacrifices and trusting yourself to make it through hard times” “hm. i’ve GOTTA see this guy naked” like bro 😭😭 is that really the only thing on your mind after reading this lmao

Madeleine Brown

Started off anticipating horror as usual ended up being both heart wrenching and heart warming. Beautiful comic. 👏🏼👏🏼

Winslow

Second one was the big dipper.

Gustavo Tovar

This is gorgeous. And I loved the ending

Winslow

Totally need a sunken express logo poster.

Victoria

SAME!!! It all makes so much more sense now lol

Avalon

I'm pretty sure the one in the upper right on the first slide is Scorpio, and the upper left might be Cancer

ElCee

The adult gets off the train 7 years earlier than he got on. I believe by giving his ticket to the kid, knowing he (the adult) can't get off the train now, was sacrifice enough for the train to take him to 2011 instead of 2018... likely to be with his husband again.

ElCee

The kid on the train is the adult's younger self. The adult sacrifices his destination by giving his younger self the ticket to go home. That sacrifice results in the adult getting off the train 7 years earlier than he got on (2011 instead of 2018) to be with his husband again.

Jesse Jane

I love this one so much!

Ethan Baldwin

This one got me in the gut ❤️❤️

ProtoKun

Naw it shows at the very end, it's 13th august 2018

Sacha Brenac

He got on in 2018 and got off in 2018. I don’t think the kid and the guy are the same person.

Mason

The sign at the end says it's 2018

Rachel K

Lauren that 2011 was a typo that Adam fixed

Rachel K

I can see why people think they’re the same person based on how they look, but the older one didn’t seem to have a bad childhood and the little one did. Unless he took the older one’s advice and was determined to have a good childhood after that. Hmm. I’m on the fence.

Grace 'Gengar' Soria

I was expecting monsters and ended up being so bittersweet. This was a beautiful story.

Rhona MacLure

This is the most moving thing I've seen from you, Adam. I love it. Thank you so much.

Kyle Michel Sullivan

This was so elegant...so well-done...so quiet in its meaning...

Rachel Webb Illustration

I am so pleased with this one. I wasn't expecting the ending to go well. Beautiful art as always.

Ghost

Good glob is this good, probably my favorite work out of everything by far. I love the new theme you went with vs the spooky or murderous endings. Genius.

Ghost

I can't wait for the next one.

yablakas

This one made me a bit misty eyed 🥹

Becki Brothers

Adam edited the comic to change 2011 to 2018.

ElCee

CURSES

Emily

I loved this 🥺

lexasaur

I think his younger self learns that it’s okay to be gay and that he doesn’t have to run away from bullies because there’s a future where what he wants is normal, from his older self. Because he gets to go home, it means the older self’s life is different; maybe his ultimate sacrifice is he never even gets to marry that husband because the butterfly effect was too strong, and so now he gets to see what his life is all about now, based on what his younger self did.

Astis

I love the fact there are mores than one interpretation

Tim Grab

This may be my favorite comic. EVER. Great work.

Manny

Loved this! You have a true talent for story telling.

Pete Laput

Wait this is so nice :((((

Jennifer Keehnel

I really like this. Just the right touched or eerie and heart warming!

Lavender Malin

i think his younger self's sacrifice of cash wasn't accepted because it was something he stole, it was his dad's, not his own sacrifice to give. which is why he got stuck on the train, instead of sent to hell; because there was still a chance in the future to correct it. and so then his future self gave his younger self a sacrifice of his own ticket, which corrected the sacrifice the boy didn't make in the past, and that's really what let the boy get off the train. ~~~~~ and his adult/future self, because he made another sacrifice, got a better deal than going to hell or getting stuck on the train. (remember, it said he wouldn't be let off the train if he lost his ticket, not that he'd go to hell if he didn't have it). he got to get off the train because of his sacrifice, and he got to end up right back where he was before-- which may have been miserable, but he's given the chance to start again, with a new perspective, knowing what he knows now. ////// honestly Adam, this is your best piece of work ever done to date. beautiful.

Ananisapta

Gosh I love this one; spooky but uplifting.

Mr. Sonntag

I absolutely love this!!

Ren Marie

This is my favorite one yet. Both sad and happy. I hope they meet again.

Jess Vescio-Steadman

The boy wanted to go to the future, and the man wanted to go to the past. The boy got off in his present, which is the man’s past. The man got off in his present, which is the boy’s future. They traded stops 🥲

MaB

This is a masterpiece. You're a genius. Thank you so much for this... You have no idea what it did for me to cope with my grief. I wish I could have gotten on that train to tell my mum to get her f*cking exams done, no matter how she didn't want to... Eternity on the train would have been worth it.

Jennifer Ryan

I mean, it’s an allegory about accepting yourself and life as it is and not living in the past, or daydreaming only about the future right? Live in the moment? To me both kid and adult were the same guy

Abbles

This was beautiful

John Allen

I mean it wasn’t the only thing…

P00hPlays

"1 ticket, 1 person, 1 roundtrip. It all checks out. No rules broken. But get the hell off my train for getting on twice" - said probably the train conductor.

Nicolas Demers

I think getting stuck on the train, as it goes through weird tunnels filled with unknown creatures, is its own kind of hell. Though I think the first stop, in the year of Signs and Men In Black II, was for the older self, who wanted to go back to his childhood. There are no rules about _who_ carries the ticket, so the younger self could get out no problem. But yes, I agree that the older self's selfless act got his trip nullified without penalty.

John Allen

This is amazing, Adam. Such an impactful story, beautifully illustrated. Also wondering if you have any NSFWs of your slender, blonde, widowed twink. Asking for a friend.

D

That was unexpectedly wholesome 💗

Kiki

I *think* that the constellation you're refering to as scorpio is actually leo. Some depictions don't show all the stars for some reason, but the very first one that pops up on google looks exactly it!

marybeth

This was 0% horror and 100% EMOTIONAL why am i CRYING? I can't wait to get the book Adam, you've mastered your work so much over the last few years and I'm so stoked to see more!!

Maestyle

Oh my heart 🥹 thank you for this story

Crystal4 Owen

I thought the kid was gonna turn into a demon whose job was too trick passengers into giving up their exit ticket 😶‍🌫️

Peter Wilsnack

Thank you for this. Such a beautiful, poignant tale.

Leslie Butenschoen

I preordered your Bad Dreams book, but it was sent to an old address and now it’s out of stock 😫 Any idea when Amazon will have more in stock? Or am I out of luck?

Henry Lozada

I know it’s horror, but it’s also thoughtful and lovely. You write real good dialogue. It sounds organic, like the way people talk. Thank you for sharing this!

Sophie Riano

What a story !!!! Did he meet himself ??? 🫣🫣🫣 Also love the sunken express logo … nearly something else… very clever 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🎉🎉🎉

David

Una historia de misterio y de ternura por el prójimo, me ha encantado . Gracias Adam

Dumb DJ

This slapped. The kid being from 2002, and the adult’s destination having posters of Signs and MIB2 (which both came out in 2002) was a great touch, as well as “the kids at school call me a girl, and… other stuff” was something i definitely related to

Eddy

This was so good! Your comics just keep getting better and better, Adam. Can't wait to get my hands on your book!

Samuel Santos

I didn't expect this to be so wholesome, what a nice twist in the end.

Marianne Leblanc Dubois

Also the phrase "only one person on the train at a time" is a hint that they are the same person.

Kells

My favourite story yet

skysyzygy

Wow, that was... really lovely. I was bracing for fear, and got heartwarming I'm really happy for that kid

Puck

I don’t understand how they can be the same character. If the boy doesn’t have a ticket to get off the train, how does he grow up to get back on the train and give himself a ticket to get off?

ShellBee

I loved this but was definitely scared that it would be similar to your story of “half your treasure” and then the man coming home to half a wife… This one was so good. The kids cute blush at “not my wife” was adorable

Don Whiteside

He doesn't say husband. He says not wife. Which I wouldn't quibble about except he also says "they died," not "he died."

Don Whiteside

Because he did give himself the ticket.🤷‍♂️ Time travel rules are what the story decides they are, I suppose.

McKey McCrae

He wanted to become a kid again but I guess the train can't de-age him so they make a kid version of him? He gives the ticket to his younger "self" along with knowledge that you can be gay and happy. I guess he was let off because the train completed it's deal with him? I'm not sure that's my theory

Yixuan Chen

love this... at pg 15- when they stared at each other, I had a sinking feeling, thought they will both be trapped in an endless loop of going back, and moving forward - and forever regretting stuff. Love the inclusivity- "they", "not my wife". Him giving up his ticket to his younger self. Who knows what the future will bring?

pricolatino

I heard a short story once, the moral was that everything shall pass, good or bad. This made me think that a lot of times in our lives things are not as bad as we think they are, and that it too shall pass and everything will be ok. ❤️

Trisha

That gave me chills, thank you Adam.

Jared Jäbät Scheren Izred Jed

I think you accidentally painted over one of his fingers on page 6. Just wanted to point that out in case you ever plan to publidh the comic in print like you did with previous ones :)

MaxLlt

Absolutely wonderful

ElderlyGoose

Love it! Definitely felt like Darren Korb voicing the guy for some reason. Appreciate the extra movie poster work.

Francisco

Lol it took me a second to figure it out. At first I thought maybe he was having an affair. Read it again and it didn't make sense until I went with oh right.

Anthony

I loved this comic it may be one of my favorites that you’ve done. I love the horror style endings but this one having a lighter and more cheery ending definitely got me good. Amazing work

Myla

Oh this is amazing, worth the subscription again!! I subscribe every time I can’t wait for it to be posted on IG lol heartwarming

Ladytore

That's really sad

Ladytore

Technically he gave his ticket to get off

Kira Anjewierden

So, so beautiful. Possibly my favorite ever ♥️

Den

Wait is older MC back in his original timeline?

Pasta Father

Also like I know what I looked like as a child. So I don’t think that’s his younger self

Sleepy_Ako

No manches!!!! Lo ame!!!!

Masumi

So you changed the 2011 to 2018? Aww I kind of liked the thought of him going back in time to get a second chance with his husband. Still love the story!

ShellBee

Just like the kid! Lol

Gem

i love that the men in black ii poster implies that's actually year 2002 and that it is indeed both of them's stop — the younger him and also his own, since he wanted to make things different for his own past self

Christine Lavallee

Thanks for another story that I can turn over in my head and ponder on. I love your ambiguous endings ❤️

Katlin Kerrison

This was beautiful. I know what I feel the story meant and what the ending meant, but I’m sure it’s different for everyone. I love this so much.

TevilDech

Damn paid money fir drawn d1ck and got a masterpiece instead! 10/10

Terrence Monte

I think I’m too stupid to understand this one. I get the kid goes back to his time, and the guy is in 2018. And the kid and the guy are the same person. But why doesn’t the guy remember being on the train as a kid? And did he do things different? Did he prevent the husbands death? I’m dying.

David Chen

I’m with ya on that one.

Darius Five

Don't apologize for improving on what was already awesome bae

Harriet Tooley

But when he gets off it shows the date as 2018. He goes back to his own timeline - perhaps because by helping himself as a young child, he does change the future and is therefore returned to his own time as though he never got on the train at all.

Quércia Araújo

Perhaps his current time (without his partner) was his hell 🤔 I like your angle!

Cheddarfrog

It's not him as a kid it's his future spouse

Rachel

It’s intentionally vague ✨

the.adriatic_c

honestly don’t even think this was horror it was a really nice comic i liked it

Ewemiz Insigne

there seems to be a little bit of a discourse (not that it's that serious) about whether the kid is him in the past or his spouse, but idk i think the real focus should be how wholesome this comic is. i love media that's really all about kindness in a strange world. and this comic glows with that <3

Sponch

I think his sacrifice allowed him to get off the train.

Jenny

i feel stupid cause i'm not sure i get this one🥹

Buffy

Maybe that's hell

Mina K

I don't think he did anything different, I think he just gets to go home more grateful for his life, even if it's without his husband (symbolizing the acceptance phase of grief). The kid not remembering, idk...trauma warps memory? Alternate timelines? Maybe it was actually his husband as others are saying? Either way, it's sweet.

schlimbo

omg i love everything about this its so sweet <3

Loren Scolaro

Ok but the Sara Lee poster is an SNL reference, right?

Mattie Hanson

Is this the best one you’ve ever done? Possibly.

Jun Orphancross

Oh this one is really really great. So the kid might be his spouse, he encouraged to get of the train so they will meet. But he arrived in his present time, when he could not get them back from the dead so it is hell, where he arrived after all? This is bittersweet, wholesome and awesome at the same time.

Jun Orphancross

Ok another thought popped up: so he wanted to go back to his CHILDHOOD to change, whatever caused his spouse to die. And if that kid is indeed his future spouse, he let them out, knowing what will happen to them, he could not change, that will cause them to die. (From mobbing by others, to meeting him this could be anything in case of longterm effects). Ok I think I found MY interpretation why this is still deemed horror. Love it people Could interpret this in diffrent ways still. Love this! Really great storytelling.

Savanna

I think it’s def the same person, not the husband. Look at the first meeting frame, the faces are the same but one is older, the same cowlick but shorter. Same big eyes. Same expression. Amazing comic!!!

Haifa Hussain

He sacrificed himself to save his younger self

Nisa

I'm pretty sure the kid is him. At the beginning he says he was a kid when he first heard about it, then it says that only one person can be in the train at a time (also they look very similar). I think the choice here is he basically has to kill his child self if he wants to go back and do things differently. He has all of this regret about his life choices, but then ends up having empathy for his child self and developing a new outlook. He's able to get off because he chose to reincarnate his child self and he's no longer technically the passenger, he's the future version of the passenger, which lives in the real world.

Nisa

Also I started this comic on instagram yesterday and had a nightmare about going onto the train and not having given something valuable enough, thank you Adam xD

Ian Wickham

Only one person *is* allowed on the train at once - we're seeing two versions of the same person from different times. The talk on the train reminds him of the good things in the past and he stops wanting to change it, then the train returns him to where he came from - it's the end of the line, like when you fall asleep on a train after a late night and miss your stop. Really great work.

Ori Jay

ADAM I'M CRYING 😭

Nick Broyles

I don’t think so, the stairs go up. 🥰

Kate Cochran

Ok I just read a bunch of comments trying to better understand, and this one made it click for me. Thank u 🙂

Giulia Carvelli

Oh, this is so sweet. He did go back in time and try to change things for his younger self. My favourite. Can't wait to get your book, I pre-ordered it months ago 🥹🤍

Noèlia Vidal Diaz

If it's not him on the train and it's his spouse it doesn't make sense that they left him get out of the train, right? I think it's defo a young version of him

Danielle

I just took this as both a kid and our main character learned a lesson. Not until I read the comments did I realize people thought they were the same person or his husband 🥲

Danielle

I love the subtlety with the movie posters btw 🥹

Anissa M

I was wondering whether there was significance behind 7312 and found this website saying it indicates a guardian angel guiding you down the right path https://www.sosyncd.com/the-meaning-of-the-7312-angel-number/ Any one know what the constellations are? Besides the Big Dipper I mean also, love the queensboro sign and how the front is out of focus.

Eddie Gauw

Really really loved this!!! Saw this on Insta and thought I must renew my membership to read the rest of this comic NOW

Kirsty

Oh OK....this is my new favourite

alanolin !

He was the only person on the train T_T

Emily Lee

The numbers also add up to 13. I had noticed it too, and immediately thought of 1408. I like it being an angel number more though hahah

Embyr Noire

This is such an amazing story, start to finish. You can feel the reveal coming and it is still beautifully fantastic. I pre-ordered the book ages ago but I keep re-reading these, loaned it to my friend since he promised to buy the Kindle edition haha I've converted another one to a fan! =)

Kit Foreman

I’ve read this so many times now. This is an absolute triumph.

Dee Bee

Literal CHILLS! Love this one. Such a great story you did right by this one mate.

Ronja

maybe the train did take him to hell after he didn't keep the other half of the ticket.

Zesty Conversation

Too many thoughts about this one & honestly I think a few previous comments really nailed it on the head. This was so beautifully done, Adam.

Derek C

No its definitely him as a kid. He goes back in time to when he was a child and the kid goes to when he was an adult, signified by him giving the ticket to his younger self. They don't actually swap places though because they are the same person

Kelley Gillespie

This was really good…and the details in the background down to including posters for Signs and MIB2, which were both released in 2002. Great work!

Stormvexed

Yes I loved that 2002 detailing!

Stormvexed

So he was let off bc he saved himself or he saved a kid so they gave him an out? Or is the station with no service hell the point of no return? Either way really creepy and wonderful at the same time 💕

RedVelvetHomoMuffin

I think it was more of the opposite. He was let off to ‘heaven’ instead.

Felix

I think that kid was him. The adult was given the chance to go back to being a kid, and the kid was given the chance to be an adult, but all they - he - really wanted was a reminder that things will get better, and they gave eachother that, without actually having to go anywhere.

JR

this is so stinking beautiful, man

Arslana

One thing that I love about this is also how the squares with characters and actions are put over the background, so we are simultaneously shown the scenery they’re driving through and what’s going on inside the train! Beautifully done and organised!

Jamie13

Finally an end to the story, it was sweet

TheDerangedOptician

I wouldn't call this horror, but it is quite bittersweet

Alex Cooney

As I understand it, the kid was the adult from when he was younger. He way gay, so the adult had a husband, not a wife. The kid was having a hard time, possibly not understanding he was gay. So the adult gave the kid his ticket, he went home & grew up & married the guy who died. All went full circle

Vanya Ramdas

i joined your patreon specifically for this comic. it's so beautiful.

Red Claudia

I love Adam's attention to the little details, like the graffiti on the tile that reads 4LORN (forelorn). Excellent comic!

The Penguin and Whale Comic

He wanted to do things differently. His younger self did it, after interacting with his older self. His younger self wanted to go to the future and become an adult. His older self did it.

Kai

Adam, you need a tag that isn't horror. A feels tag.
