Hey y’all! I’ve been so swamped lately! I just finished up my next book, and I’ve deep into work on the Fever Knights tabletop RPG! It’s got a big amazing team of writers and game makers and I’m super excited for it. Right now I’m working on a side quest about a murder mystery for Instagram. I’ll be posting these over the coming weeks but you get to see all of them now. Who do you think the murderer is?

Alma faked her death so she could run away with the gardener and reveal herself in a dramatic entrance at her funeral. She also secretly donated all her money to a bird rescue

I don’t know who did it but they Definitely stole Priscilla’s pills to do the job. She found out who it is because of that and that’s the reason she’s all torn up. Or, she just knows they’re missing and is putting on an act so she doesn’t seem suspicious

There are too many solid motives to eliminate anyone, so I’m going to take the “family plot” part literally and assume it was a large group effort. Further theory, Alma isn’t dead and is also in on it, and this is all, somehow, a trap for our heroes. Revenge plot maybe? Ciseaux looks like they could be a Bettencourt. 🤔

I think Gideon has the least motive of all. Sure, he's angry over being let go, but he doesn't really have anything to gain from her death...unless someone promised him a cut of the will if he grew the nightshade and helped poison her.

All I know is who i'm NOT suspicious of right now: Cora, Gideon and Lance. Cora because even though she is running that jewel scam, she's still working on new projects left and right. Lance beacuse he's a dumbass, if he were the killer he would have just stabbed her and be done with it. Lastly, Gideon IS a bit sus, since he might be Priscilla's lover (like the others said), but I doubt he'd kill Alma: it doesn't benefit him, and he might even have an alibi for the day of the murder.
