this just made me realise that we always wondered what if there's a big creatures on the bottom of the ocean, but we never ask that about space. i feel like media make us think we know more about space than about the oceans. this put so many things into a new perspective for me. such a great comic Adam!

So the creepy cultists actually DID make contact with the old dead god and set his revival in motion, but I feel like the god was probably like that bird god in the game Ashen -- it didn't GAF about the humans helping it or not because humans are insignificant. Offering up eyes wouldn't have made any difference. Hmm...but then there's the "bone thing" that struck the moon before the cultists showed up....so maybe the cult's supposed "contact" was just a coincidence? Lots to think about with this comic!

I love how absolutely nonsensical the cult is, even if they’re right that a giant god is coming. ‘Tear out your eyes! It won’t help the god get his eyes back, and he’s getting other body parts too, and of course you won’t be able to see him and you’ll likely bleed to death, but yeah! Salvation!’

I'm reading this on my phone and the way the pages have to be swiped without a preview was perfect for the suspense. That full panel ending was fantastic. I kept thinking it was going to end at different points and I'm so happy you made it as long as you did. And the long ocean horizon panel would be a fantastic desktop background. >.>

The way I thought the fragments that fell to earth were from the moon, and it was going to rotate to reveal itself to be a skull. The actual story was so much worse.
