The concept of "Quick D" has lost all meaning at this point, since this episode is over 5 mins long and covers 2 different videos. But you know what? Idunevencare!

Quick D: Cup Levitation & Train Track Rescue

Please consider supporting my videos on http://www.patreon.com/CaptainDisillusion In this double feature Quick D, Captain Disillusion takes a look at two completely unrelated videos: https://twitter.com/FustDrift/status/790038578864590848 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZMpKDRAHwI ...and discusses the inevitability of unoriginality.

I seriously loved this. That zoom-in on the uncomfortable girl you were hugging had me in stitches!

"what you think" :D

Heh, it says D cup.

No, but seriously, thank you Alan, your videos are consistently very enjoyable.

The stylized VHS work was great. 100,000 subscribers, you are on your way for countless more. Keep em coming captain D.

Sorry I just looked at your channel. 275,000 subscribers!

Jim Battle

Cap'n D, your timing is a bit off. You still had a few hours left before the month ran out. I loved the humor of the 80s magic bit.

Another great one! You keep managing to make these videos interesting, entertaining and unique from one another. You're easily the best Patreon I subscribe to. Keep up the great work, Captain!

Michael Krehan

Sigh, I'm so tired of saying "you've outdone yourself". I said it before. Is nothing original anymore?

Cervalt

I really quite like this one, especially the bit about your previous FX work before the channel. Great job as always.

Brian King

Your 1990s VFX would have been Oscar-worthy.

Once again you have provided good entertainment bang for the buck. I maybe weird, but I sincerely believe you deserve a much larger audience. Love the older stuff and the not so subtle jokes within jokes. Wish I could make a larger pledge but life intrudes. Hope you get big enough to up your output. Also kudos on the serious side of your debunking work.

A good old fashioned debunking video, loved it! The hand on the girls shoulder.... comedy gold

Not the hero people want but the hero they need! Keep up the work Captain!

Really good! The 90s instructional video was great. I loved the transitions, and the scene with the girl was very funny. That train video is so poorly made! (Not your college film, of course)

Susan Gerbic

I really look forward to these. I was in New Zealand and got the email saying that this was available to view, but could not find strong enough wifi for days. I managed to watch half-way with it buffering all the way. Frustrating! Glad I've finally got to see all the way through, terrific work, love the clever line at the end that comes full circle to the theme of the video. That what was old is new again. http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveolenski/2015/08/14/what-was-old-is-new-again-the-power-of-nostalgia-marketing/#1b85ee251d1b
