UPDATE: The stream is starting now!

--

Tune in this Sunday at 11AM ET (-|:'_-.:-=||_- Alpha Centauri Time) for a fun livestream about the latest video.

I'll go through it with detailed commentary, show some behind-the-scenes footage, answer questions (if any) and also... reveal how I did my version of the trick!

Hope to see you there. But if you miss it, no worries. As always, the stream will be archived and available to watch later.

What‘s that in Betelgeuse Time?

My totally speculative bet on how you did your version: 1. Let the card behind the panel fall, and paint out the dropping card. 2. The card sandwiched inbetween the acryl glass being CGI. 3. The hand+arm that's picking up the card at the front plus the card at the front of the glass itself is from a separate shot, composited as an overlay over your shot, including some tracking-based 2D-transformations to connect the overlay with how you move the glass around.

Hey. Anyone know what’s going on with the website? Have I missed announcements about what’s being done?

When he put's on the silver .. is he always thinking to himself "Ugh, here we go again" or is it more like "Fuck yeah here we go again!" ?

Joe Greathead

Just watched the replay. That was awesome! The BTS of how you did your version of the trick was pretty mind blowing.
