Hail dear Adventurers and Merchants!

A new Epic Boss is finally live, a loyalty reward for who supported us during July+August+September 2021!
This huge monstruosity is called Avatar of Holmuran, the ancient shell of the ancient and powerful god of the seas Holmuran, who acquired consciousness as a result of demonic corruption.
Some more lore at the end of the post!

As for every Epic Boss, you will receive this for free if you supported us during the full season.

HOW TO OBTAIN THE STL

  • If you have been supporting us for all the 3 months listed above you received the Epic Boss through MyMiniFactory library. (check "All Emails" and "Promotions" inbox).
  • MyMiniFactory is using your Artisan Guild subscription email, so you could alternatively log in with it in MMF and claim your boss inside MY LIBRARY -> OBJECT SHARED WITH ME.
  • If you have been supporting for the FULL SEASON and still you didn't received your reward, please contact MyMiniFactory support team at info@myminifactory.com They are handling the MMF library system and they possess all the Patrons lists :)

During the Cosmo War, in the First Era, the Avatar of the God of the seas was corrupted by an ancient Demon Lord, Draiken Zestirot the Animancer Master, just before being banished into his Astral Domain.
Corrupted by the Demon Lord, the Avatar of Holmuran acquired consciousness and believed that he was the true god of the seas, declaring war to Holmuran people and trying to conquer the Sunken Kingdom.

During the second Era, the Avatar of Homuran used his Animancer powers, inherited from the Demon who had corrupted his soul, to break and mix the souls of the sea folk to create a superior race to subjugate them all, the Slathaai.
By accomplishing this task he consumed his soul almost entirely, falling into a sleep from which he could only awaken after absorbing enough souls to re-fuel his divine spark.
This is the reason why after centuries the Slathaai, masters of soul manipulation, allied with the Tyrant God Tialevor to help him in his battle against the other gods. During the final battle, the Slathaai channelled enough souls to their sleeping false God, now woke up and ready to help his children to conquer both the Depths and the Surface!

The left wing has two supported versions. "Supported" and "Supported bis" What's the difference? I see some of the support patterns are a bit different.

HIs left arm is attached to the torso, its part of the main Avatar of Holmuran file. Now if anyone could tell me what the difference is between the two versions of the two Left Wing Supported files, that'd be great :)

I am not sure, but it looks like one is just at more extreme an angle than the other. They did this with the Fire Giant to make it fit on the build plate of the Sonic mini. Just a guess.

Thanks a bunch for your reply. I did see the angle change I also saw fewer supports. I am trying to figure out what BIS stands for, maybe "Baked In Supports" or built in supports. Either way I was just able to fit this whole beast on a single plate for my Mono X, 14 hours from now he should be done :)

Please be aware Torso and Base both failed for me on an Elegoo Saturn with default settings. Right leg of torso was pulled off supports early (The rest printed without issue) and the entire base was pulled off of supports about half way through. I'm a newer Patreon subscriber and had to shell out the $15 for this print as the discount code didn't work for me. A good amount of resin wasted. Would love to know what machine and what settings these were tested on.

I should note that head, both wings, and arm all printed without issue. I still don't think it's acceptable for the largest pieces to have failures on one of the more popular printers running on default settings given the price and exclusivity.

The first torso I printed broke all apart but my FEP was about a month old so I replaced it and all the parts printed fine on a Mars pro.

They never guarantee that ANYTHING will print on default settings. It is your responsibility to hone in your settings. They can't know what system you are printing on, much less all the other variables. Resin, altitude, temperature, the crowdedness of the build plate, there are a million factors and they simply can't take them all into account.

It is the point, they provide good support, a quality model but they don't print it for you. There are a lot of printer model and settings and as say before temperature, altitude, brand of your resin are elements that change the final result. You can ever have on the same plate a good print and a bad print of the same model in the same print. Go to the discord to discuss the settings and what need to be done for a better print. It is possible a support is not good enough and they do regular updated if that happen. You will see then if you are alone in this case and will be helped by the comunity or if it is a recurent problem with a model and changes need to be made.

I use a different email address from Patreon than with MyMiniFactory. IF I register my Patreon email to MMF, would I have access to it still? Edit: I did register my Patreon email and I'm not seeing it anywhere. I take it I should email MMF and hope they're able to fix it then?

I received the mothtly releases correctly on myminifactory, but the loyalty season 3 epic boss did not appeared to me yet. Is it only me or other has the same issue?
