Hello friends!
I hope you are enjoying your Frostheart Lizardmen!

This month I tried to not show too much of the upcoming release, the Faldorn Goblins set, which will be live during February. It has been so hard, I had so many sculpts I wanted to share with you, and finally I can reveal them all in the trailer :)

You are invited to turn on the audio and click play on the video above!

I love goblins, and this month I tried to sculpt everything you could need to make a very interesting custom encounter for your favourite rpg, or even a large army for any wargame.
Of course, these models will have proper stats to be recluted in your guild in GUILDS, our tabletop game :)

This set is perfect to mix with our Hobgoblins, and yes, I have some plans to make some new and better greatgoblins on a future set!

Faldorn Goblins
The treacherous Goblins are a race of vicious creatures with long noses and arms, but short, ungainly, and hunchbacked, cousins of the taller hobgoblins and greatgoblins.

The Goblins of the Faldorn Forests prey on caravans moving goods between Skutagaard and Rotvar, ambushing in large hordes with spears, bows and swords, often accompanied by monstrous giant spiders.
Without the iron fist of a Chieftain, a horde of Goblins is prone to snapping at each other.

Spider Riders
What really sets the Goblins of Faldorn apart from the rest is their audacity, or folly, in training the mischievous giant spiders of their forest.
These leathery armored hairy spiders are deadly predators capable of communicating with each other, suggesting that they are a species steeped in demon blood in ancient times, not natural fauna of this world.

One must tread carefully in the dark woods of Falrdon: once one has entered the web of a giant spider, there is nothing that can be done to get free.

Some Faldorn Goblins are capable of riding these beasts into war, though more often than not the spider finishes eating the Goblin riding it moments later.

Grishak Grimcrow
“I am the bird of prey that preys from above, the dirk in the dark, the hole in the heart!"
- Grishak Grimcrow, Goblin Assassin.

While most Goblins fight in large groups, Grishak Grimcrow, also known as "the mad flying Goblin", prefers to stalk his prey alone, using the advantage of shadows and height.

Grishak is said to have built his mechanical wings and mask from the feathers and bones of the giant ravens that live near the Rodburg citadel, evidence of Goblin wit and ingenuity. He is also a fanatic of the god Grimbog, who assiduously serves by shedding blood in his honor.

Malgob Firegut
"Move those paws before I cut them off, you filthy cutthroats! That forest won't cut down by itself!"
- Malgob Firegut – Goblin Chieftain.

Goblins, as we know, hardly have enough resources to fill their stomachs, and hunger makes them terribly vicious and aggressive, a perfect condition to be sent to raid villages or caravans.
However, a Goblin that gorges itself on food and drink, which is very rare, is capable of growing enormously, bloating to look like a clumsy orc.

If not controlled by Hobgoblins or Greatgoblins, a horde of Goblins is controlled by the largest of them, who takes the role of Chieftain. Malgob Firegut, also known as Malgob Grog Lover, is one of the biggest Chieftains ever seen on Rotvar's face, and it must be said, it's not easy to maintain this position without other Goblins trying to stab you in your sleep, which proves him very cunning.

Evil and voracious in equal measure, he is clearing south Faldorn Woods to feed his war machine, arming a huge horde to march on the cities of men.

Giant Swamp Troll
Captured by sacrificing huge numbers of Goblins in the swamps at the heart of Faldorn, the swamp giant troll is used as a siege beast by Chieftain Malgob, who tortured it for months to gain control.

Spending most of its time submerged in the putrid marshy waters of Faldorn, and breathing with its huge lumpy nose above the water, this colossus with long greasy hair is covered in barnacles and algae from the tip of the nose to the tail, a mass of muscles with a nauseating smell capable of regenerating most wounds in a few moments.
Unlike the more civilized Trolls who lives in family and societies, this brute can only grunt and roar like most Giant Trolls, proving that the bigger Trolls are more savage and witless. In fact, to keep from going insane and destroying the camps, this huge Troll eats dozens of Goblins and prisoners every day.

Gbiza - Goblin Pinup
Generally, female Goblins are virtually indistinguishable from the male in the eyes of Men, Dwarves and Alfar. The reason has not been discovered, but only one female for every hundreds Goblins is able to conceive and when one is born, she is destined to a great fate. Worshiped as a fertility goddess or queen, and considered direct Daughters of Grimbog, they are distinguishable by their feminine and gracious figure, attractive even to the eyes of other races.

Unlike some Daughters of Grimbog exploit their heritage to rule over Goblins and be treated like minor deities, Gbiza choose the path of the assassin, demonstrating her devotion to the Goblin god Grimbog by assassinating the enemies of her tribe.

Goblin Watchtower
The woods of Faldorn are dotted with small Goblin towers, providing the archers of this treacherous race with a remarkable advantage to spot their prey, and to harass them with volleys of rusty arrows.

Fantastic miniatures 😁🔥🔥🔥👍

Matthew Jones

This is probably the best set you’ve done!!! And as someone who has and loves every set you’ve made, that is saying something! Great work! I had been dying to see these goblins!

Aslan Shepard

Freaking amazing as always. I would love to see at least one spellcasting hand included in the modular weapons so it’s easy to make a few caster monsters with any set.

Bryan Larson

I’m another patreon who has all of your releases and this one looks like it could be the best one yet! And that is saying a lot because since the beginning there really is no other artist who compares to your talent. I cannot wait for these!

John O'Brien

He he he he he (maniacal laughter)

Serlig

Love these goblins. Any plans on a rodent based release, Like a mouse militia or rat horde?

Ceris

At first I thought, eh goblins can be skipped. But these are too good. Still sad that you Cleary have it out for fdm users though. A single angle without spikes or some separation of sections would go a long way.

Riddick Fitzgerald

Is there a plan to do kobolds eventually? It feels like they’re the only popular race that hasn’t been done yet

Martin Dickson

The swamp troll is wonderful; so much texture and character.

Dragon Daddy

Amazing - we wouldn't expect anything less.

YourMagnet_adult_version

Incredible! I'm so glad to see another wonderful work. This is a really amazing release! I love these goblins so well equipped with weapons and equipment

Stephen Brewer

These will be hitting my printer pretty quickly. Goblins make a great start to any campaign =D

Mini Manatee

Hard to pick a favorite!! Top 3 are the Troll, Spider Riders and Grishak!

Robert Harbo Staun

Fantastic! perhaps even your best set as of yet! I love these grim, evil goblins. I couldn't believe you included the terrific troll. Blew my mind! Also the the spider on its hind legs is a superp pose! Nice! Glad to be part of the guild!

Dusk

Really good

Brian Gute

This set is fantastic! Can't wait to get started printing them, and I'm really looking forward to see what you do with great goblins in the future!

Stephen Brewer

Not an idiot at all! I just happen to have been following for a while. Happy to share what I know, though!

Adam Marafioti

I know many of the sculpts in this set are just variations of the same or similar sculpts, but that’s still a crazy amount of sculpting for 1 person to do in a month!

Billy Miles

these are gonna be SO MUCH FUN to paint!! you’ve done it again!

David Lyse

You never fail to amaze and delight me with the detail and variety of your sculpts!! You have a patron for life!!

The Bonehead Podcast

These look awesome! Superb job! Any chance of the complete versions used for these videos being included in the packs? Makes it much easier to print a bunch out and not losing hands 😂 also easier to scale down to 10mm for warmaster!

Ryley Dempsey-Spearing

I love this set so much!! My only concern is the spiders legs snapping really easily, is there a way to bulk them up?

cra

The goblins look wonderful! Great job on the face design. It adds a lot of character. I really like the assortment of weapons. The spider mounts are also a great idea. Fits my current campaign perfectly. Love the giant troll and the towers too. I'm sure I will print/paint/play this entire set. Looking forward to it.

Delin 20

Amazing!! 🤩 what an awesome set! Thanks so much for so many new Gobbos to look forward too!

Daniel Henry

I love them. Great character and details as usual. I think the rearing spider will be a problem though with 2 tiny points of contact with the base? Surely its going to break off.

Mark Nold

Great set. One or two look like they’re inspired by Labyrinth. Great job and looking forward to printing and painting them

Khalifa

WOOOOOWWW, increible, Does anyone can tell me if i my elegoo mars 2 pro is gonna be able to print them good or is a bad printer for this amamazing quality?

Daniel Vitti

I've printed many Artisan's Guild models on an Elegoo Mars 2, they turn out great.

demonwombatofdoom

Nice, big fan of this one. Anything Mook related I'm very keen on and useful for Dungeons and Dragons. Kobolds, Goblins, Skeletons. Would really like to see more such as Giant Rats, Giant Ants, Stirges, etc. Keep up the awesome work.

Brian Clites

These are absolutely fantastic!

Anthony Krieman

Any resin printer capable of .05 or better are virtually indistinguishable to the naked eye once calibrated

Anthony Krieman

These are amazing! Please keep them coming!

Abdul Rahman Khan

Dude this looks amazing! And I dont even collect Goblins! But so many things you can do with this pack.

Timothy Roller

Absolutely fabulous! If you could do a whole set of wild trolls of different varieties in the Scandanavian way shown in the Troll Hunter movie or similar that would be amazing!

NakedSunFlower

Wow! Really can't get enough of this as this set of nosed goblins just looks amazing. Keep it up!

James Harrison

Heyo! There appears to be an open hand that you can mirror for left and right. Also most, if not all of the spell effects from previous sets should be separate from hands so you should be able to pick an effect you want, print it and glue it to the open hand :) Check the Arcanists and Depth One's sets for spell effects! I can't think of any other set that has spell effects at this time.

Nick Powell

With goblins in most fantasy games being size small instead of medium, is there any plan to do a set that are on smaller 20mm bases as standard? Yes, I know we can scale them down, however that doesn't work with presupports meaning we then have to support them ourselves. Doable, but just thought I'd ask. Thanks!

AJ Wilkinson

I absolutely love these. Any chance we can get some modular female goblins at some point? Between this and the older set I think the only female goblins we have are the two pinups. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Rowby DeBacker

Another good set! If the community could lend me a hand... im having trouble printing in the winter and im worried about using a space heater while im not home. Any advice?

Walt Sterdan

I've used a small infra-red heater to keep my print room warm in winter, I felt it was one of the safest type of heater to leave alone. There's nothing warm to the touch on the unit itself.

Sporf

How does resizing not work with presupports? I do it all the time. I usually shrink the dwarves by 82 and humans by 90. I haven't printed Sparksoot yet but I'm assuming I'll be shrinking them 82 as well. I'm pretty sure these (and Sparksoot) are "small" when compared to human sized Artisan guild minis. It's just that Artisan Guild is 32 mm (closer to 36 really) so I pretty much have to shrink em since I don't play Warhammer or Hordes. Do we know what size the bases are going to be? 25 would be better for me as it makes them work in most war games and fit on the grid of a D&D map.

Sporf

The older Sparksoot set has a couple ladies in the modular goblin soldier group.

Sporf

My Oathmark goblins will be adding a few new recruits.

Sporf

Actually looked at the sparksoot in my slicer and yeah, you are right, they are pretty dang big. Standing about to the shoulder of one of the wizards. The base was 25 mm though so that works. Looks like I'll be shrinking the Sparksoot and likely these guys about 75 ish. I will have to experiment, especially with the mounted goblins to se about getting them on different mounts.

Nathan

Are you using a canvas/foil printer cover? I got one after I saw recommendations online, and it's great. I use a hot air gun to get the resin up to temp, put on the Anycubic's lid, then slide the cover over the top. The reflective foil on the inside is great at preserving the heat in a cold room. Just make sure that you're not blocking the fan port, if your printer is a type fitted with a fan.

Nick Powell

Scaling supported models up is pretty foolproof, but scaling models down with presupports weakens the supports and results in a higher failure rate. Shrinking the presupported sparksoot and hobgoblins for my table (in my world hobgobs are also small) gave me fits, since I was shrinking them almost 50%. Had to go in and add my own supports, which isn't a huge deal just takes time. I'm not expecting them to say they'll go and make a bunch of tiny minis just for this edge case, but thought I'd at least ask 🙂

Andre McInnis

You get plenty of female goblins in the set, because they are essentially indistinguishable from regular goblins except for the fertile ones, who are incredibly rare so you would never see them on the battlefield anyway. At least that's the lore reason why we don't have any more visibly female Goblin models in this lineup

Andre McInnis

As long as you don't have a cheap one you should be fine. The safety features in the modern ones are incredibly good. I use one and I don't even think about it. Just make sure it's not a cheap one

Durifen

More Greatgolbins? NOICE!

Kyle Simmons

Another fantastic month. Kind of looking forward to a month that I actually don't like so I can catch up, but it hasn't happened for a while

Georgios Tsatsamis

My piles of shame are being filled to the top and now this .. Damn!!! They look amazing..

Sporf

Ah. I've yet to have an issue with shrinking, but then I'm not currently shrinking them as much as you. I'll keep that in mind when I do start printing these guys and the Sparksoot for Frostgrave and Oathmark. You are right it certainly doesn't hurt to ask.

Joe

amazing , last 3 months have been bangers..

MadMike

I am SO confused - why di I not get a notification and links as I used to? Did you move away from Patreon? Help please!

Yen Vlogs 08

☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Emmet Boylan

Printed off my first batch of Artisan Guild minis last night - I am delighted. The art style, model personality, detail, variety are all amazing. The nicest surprise were the pre-supports, which were probably the best I have used so far. Top tier, across the board, keep up the great work.
