The Timestamp That Got My Audio Removed from YouTube (Patreon)

Hi guys,

My recent audio, I Regret Rejecting You, was wrongfully removed from YouTube because it allegedly violated their nudity and sex policy.

The example timestamp that YouTube provided is 4:22, where my character mumbles “Oh, f*ck” under her breath as she fights back tears (see attached audio). Context matters here, and a human reviewer should understand that this context is in no way sexual in nature.

Why This Matters

I am taking this very seriously because:

An audio that I spent significant time and effort crafting was wrongfully removed.

and

This takedown results in a channel warning that puts my channel at risk for future termination.

My appeal to the takedown decision was quickly rejected, and I have been taking further action to receive a thorough human review. If the audio is successfully cleared, it should return to YouTube.

But in the meantime, I Regret Rejecting You is free to the public here on Patreon. 

What's Next?

This likely isn’t the first you’ve heard of this happening to YouTube channels in this niche. I am very frustrated, but I am focused on what I can control. I am exploring other platforms in which I can grow my audience so that, in the case of channel termination, my platform is not entirely compromised.
